자녀를 화나게 하지 마십시오

성경말씀

(엡6:4) 아버지들이여, 여러분의 자녀를 화나게 하지 말고, 주님의 훈계와 권고로 양육하십시오.

자녀를 화나게 하는 것은 그들의 육체를 자극함으로 그들을 손상시킵니다. 부모들이 자기 자녀들에게 화를 낸다면 그것은 언제나 파괴적이게 됩니다. 이 때문에 나는 부모들에게 그들의 자녀들을 다룰 때 화내지 말라고 충고합니다. 자녀들을 화나게 하지 않기 위해서는 아버지들이 십자가에 머무름으로 십자가에서 처리되는 것이 요구됩니다. 이것은 주님과 교통 안에 머무름으로 그분의 생명이 우리의 화를 삼켜 버리게 하는 것입니다. 우리가 화를 내지 않는 유일한 길은 십자가 위에서 머무르는 것입니다. 자녀들의 나쁜 짓이나 잘못된 행실을 다룰 때 여러분은 반드시 먼저 십자가로 가서 그곳에 머물러야 합니다. 그렇지 않으면 여러분은 화를 내게 되며, 그 화내는 것이 자녀들의 화를 불러일으킬 것입니다. 자녀들을 화내게 하는 대신 아버지들은 주님의 훈계와 권고로 양육해야 합니다. 자녀들을 양육한다는 것은 그들에게 공급을 통해 그들을 키우는 것입니다. 자녀들을 키우는데 있어서 부모들은 인간생활과 가정생활과 사회생활에 관련된 필요한 가르침들을 주어야 합니다. 권고라는 말은 여기서 가르침을 포함합니다. 아마도 바울은 하나님의 말씀으로 자녀들을 교육시켜야 한다는 구약의 요구를 언급하는 것 같습니다(신6:7). 이는 우리가 성경으로 자녀들을 가르쳐야 한다는 뜻입니다. 이러한 가르침과 더불어 때로는 자녀들을 훈계해야, 곧 징계해야 합니다. 부모들이 주의 훈계와 권고로 자녀들을 양육함을 배우는 것은 매우 중요합니다. Not Provoking Your Children

Ephesians 6:4 And fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but nurture them in the discipline and admonition of the Lord.

Words of Ministry

Provoking to anger damages the children by stirring up their flesh. It is always destructive for parents to be angry with their children. For this reason, I counsel the parents not to lose their temper when dealing with their children. Not provoking the children's anger requires the fathers' anger to be dealt with by remaining under the cross [i.e. to stay in fellowship with the Lord, and let His life swallow up our anger]. The only way we can keep from losing our temper is to stay on the cross. In dealing with your children's wrongdoings or misbehavior, you must firstly go to the cross and stay there. Otherwise, you will lose your temper, and this loss of temper will provoke your children's anger. Instead of provoking the children to anger, the fathers are to nurture them in the discipline and admonition of the Lord. To nurture children means to bring them up, to raise them, by nourishing them. Raising children requires that the parents give them the needed instruction related to human life, family life, and social life. The word admonition here includes instruction. Paul was probably referring to the Old Testament requirement that parents instruct their children with the word of God (Deut. 6:7). This means that we are to teach our children with the Bible. Along with this instruction, we sometimes must discipline them, chastise them. It is crucial that parents learn to nurture the children in the discipline and admonition of the Lord.
