신성한 능력의 스위치

성경말씀

(엡1:18~19) 여러분의 마음의 눈을 밝히시어, 하나님께서 여러분을 부르신 그 소망이 무엇인지를 알게 해 주시고 성도들 안에 있는 하나님의 유업의 영광의 풍성이 무엇인지를 알게 해 주시며 또한 믿는 우리들을 향하여 강한 권능으로 운행하는 하나님의 지극히 큰 능력이 무엇인지를 알게 해 주시기 바랍니다.
(고후4:13) 또한 성경에 "나는 믿었기에 말하였다네."라고 기록된 것과 같이, 우리도 동일한 믿음의 영을 가졌으므로 우리 역시 믿고 말합니다.

오늘의 만나

전기는 이 능력에 대한 아주 좋은 예입니다. 우리가 아나하임에 집회소를 지었을 때, 전기가가설되었습니다. 지금 전기의 능력이 그 건물을 향하여 설치되었습니다. 이 능력을 사용하느냐, 사용하지 않느냐는 우리에게 달려 있으며, 우리는 다만 스위치를 켬으로써 이 능력을 사용할 수 있습니다. 이와 같이 하늘에 속한 전기의 능력도 우리 안에 가설되었으며 우리를 향하여 설치되었습니다. 이 능력을 받아들이는 길은 며칠 동안 금식하고 기도하는 것이 아니라, 다만 영적인 스위치를 사용하는 것입니다. 스위치를 켜는 실행 방법 중의 하나는 에베소서 1장 19절부터 23절까지를 계속 말하는 것입니다. 만일 우리가 이 구절을 열 번만 말한다면, 능력으로 강하게 될 것입니다. 그러나 여러분이 약하다고 계속해서 말한다면, 여러분은 참으로 약해질 것입니다. 그러나 믿음 안에서 적극적으로 말함으로써 우리의 전존재를 사용하여 이 신성한 능력을 받아들여야 합니다. 우리가 믿음 안에서 말하여 이 능력을 받아들일 때, 모든 소극적인 것들이 사라질 것입니다. 사탄은 우리의 가련하고 애걸하는 기도를 두려워하는 것이 아니라, 우리가 믿음 안에서 말하는 것을 두려워합니다. 이것은 미신이 아니라 그리스도인의 믿음입니다. 믿음에 관하여 첫째는 사실이 있어야 합니다. 하나님께서 그분의 거룩한 말씀을 통하여 오시어 우리에게 사실을 말씀하십니다. 그러면 우리는 하나님께서 말씀하신 것을 믿고, 하나님께서 말씀하시는 것은 무엇이든지 말합니다. 이것이 믿음입니다. Electricity is an excellent illustration of this power. When we built our meeting hallin Anaheim, electricity was installed. Now electrical power is toward the building. Itis up to us whether or not we use this power, and we use it by turning on theswitch. Likewise, the heavenly electricity has been installed in us, and the heavenlypower is toward us. The way to receive this power is not to fast and pray forseveral days; it is simply to use the switch. One way to practice using the switchis to speak Ephesians 1:19-23 again and again. If we speak these verses ten times,we shall be empowered. However, if you repeatedly say that you are weak, you willin fact be weak. But by speaking positively in faith, we exercise our whole being toreceive the divine power. When we speak in faith and receive the power, allnegative things flee away. Satan is not afraid of our pitiful, begging prayers, buthe is afraid of our speaking in faith. This is not superstition; it is our Christianfaith. Regarding faith, there must first be the fact. God comes in to tell us aboutthe fact, and then we believe what God says. Through His holy Word God comesin to tell us of these facts. Then we believe what God has spoken and speakwhatever God speaks. This is faith.
