진리 이만나

소망을 알도록 밝히심

성경말씀

(엡1:18) 여러분의 마음의 눈을 밝히시어, 하나님께서 여러분을 부르신 그 소망이 무엇인지를 알게 해 주시고 성도들 안에 있는 하나님의 유업의 영광의 풍성이 무엇인지를 알게 해 주시고며
(골1:27) 하나님은 이 비밀의 영광이 이방인들 가운데서 얼마나 풍성한지를 성도들에게 알리기 원하셨습니다. 이 비밀은 여러분 안에 계신 그리스도인데, 곧 영광의 소망입니다.

오늘의 만나

우리의 소망은 오직 유일하게 그리스도입니다. 우리 소망의 모든 부분이 그리스도와 관련되어 있습니다. 우리 안에 계신 그리스도께서 어떠한 분이신지요! 그분은 보이지 않는 하나님의 형상이시며, 모든 창조물 가운데 가장 먼저 나신 분이시고, 죽은 자들 가운데 가장 먼저 나신 분이시며, 또한 모든 긍정적인 것들의 실재이십니다. 만일 우리 안에 거하시는, 모든 것을 포함하신 그리스도께서 우리의 영광의 소망이라는 이상을 본다면, 우리의 생활은 변혁될 것입니다. 우리는 다음과 같이 말할 것입니다. "오, 주 예수님! 지금부터 나는 주님이 아닌 다른 것들을 관심하기를 원치 않습니다. 종교나 철학이나 세상의 요소들을 관심하지 않습니다. 주님, 나는 단지 하나님의 체현이시며, 내 영 안에 계신, 생명 주시는 영이신 주님만을 관심합니다. 나의 영 안에서 주님께서 참되고, 살아계시며, 실지적이시기 때문에, 나는 주님으로 말미암아, 주님으로 살 수 있습니다. 주님! 나의 유일한 갈망은 주님을 이렇게 체험하는 것입니다." 만일 우리가 이러한 이상을 본다면, 우리는 또한 오늘날 그리스도인들이 그리스도가 아닌 다른 많은 것들에 의해 얼마나 빗나갔는지를 깨닫게 될 것입니다. 그들은 선한 것들, 성경적인 것들, 근본적인 것들, 심지어는 영적인 것들을 관심하고 있습니다. 하지만 이런 것들은 그리스도 자신은 아닙니다. Being Enlightened to Know the Hope

Words of Ministry

Our hope is singly and uniquely Christ. Every aspect of our hope is related to Him. What a Christ we have within us. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation, the firstborn from among the dead, the reality of all positive things... If we see the vision that the all-inclusive Christ who indwells us is our hope of glory, our living will be revolutionized. We shall say, “O Lord, from now on I won't care for anything other than You. I don't care for religion, philosophy, or the elements of the world. Lord, I care only for You as the embodiment of God and as the life-giving Spirit in my spirit. Because You are so real, living, and practical in my spirit, I can live by You and with You. Lord, my only desire is to experience You in this way.” If we see this vision, we shall also realize how much Christians today have been distracted by things other than Christ. They may pay their attention to good things, scriptural things, fundamental things, even spiritual things. Nevertheless, these things are not Christ Himself.
