우주가 하나님을 찬양함

성경말씀

(엡1:11) 모든 일을 자신의 뜻의 의결대로 일하시는 분의 목적에 따라, 우리가 미리 정해짐으로써, 또한 그리스도 안에서 유업으로 선정되었습니다.
(12)이것은 그리스도 안에 먼저 소망을 둔 우리로 말미암아 그분의 영광이 찬송되도록 하시려는 것입니다.

에베소서 1장 12절 첫 부분의 "이것은"은 의미가 가득합니다. 그 단어는 앞선 구절에서 일어났던 것이 어떤 결과를 가져왔다는 것을 가리킵니다. 그것은 우리로 말미암아 하나님의 영광이 찬송되리라는 것입니다. 이 구절은 단지 우리가 하나님을 찬양하리라는 의미가 아닙니다. 그것은 하나님의 넘치는 은혜가 우리를 위해, 우리 안에서 많이 일하심으로 모든 천사들과 우주 안의 모든 긍정적인 것들이 하나님을 찬양할 것이라는 의미입니다. 그들은 하나님의 아들인 우리가 우주 가운데 하나님의 운행하심의 중심, 초점이므로 하나님을 찬양할 것입니다. 넘치는 은혜가 우리 위에, 우리를 위해, 우리 안에서 많은 것들을 성취하고 있으므로, 우리는 우주 안의 긍정적인 것들이 하는 찬양의 근거가 될 것입니다. 찬양은 감상을 말하는 것입니다. 우리는 진흙을 찬양하지 않는데, 이는 우리가 진흙을 감상하지 않기 때문입니다. 모든 천사들이 하나님의 아들들인 우리를 감상하는 날이 올 것입니다. 그들이 우리를 보면 볼수록, 하나님께 찬양하는 말이 더 흘러나올 것입니다. 우리에 대한 그들의 감상이 그들이 하나님께 찬양하는 것이 될 것입니다. 그들은 우리의 어떠함이 하나님의 넘치는 은혜의 일이라는 것을 깨닫게 될 것입니다. 찬양의 양은 넘치는 은혜가 얼마나 많이 일하였는가에 달려 있습니다. What Will Cause this Universe to Praise God?

Ephesians 1:11 In whom also we were designated as an inheritance... (12) That we would be to the praise of His glory who have first hoped in Christ

Words of Ministry

The little word “that” at the beginning of verse 12 is very meaningful. It indicates that the many things that have been taking place in the preceding verses have a certain result: that we should be to the praise of God's glory. This verse does not mean that we shall praise God. It means that so much will be worked out for us and in us by God's abounding grace that all the angels and positive things in the universe will praise God. They will praise God because we, the sons of God, will be the center, the focal point, of God's operation in the universe. We on whom, for whom, and in whom the abounding grace is accomplishing so much will become the cause for the praise uttered by the positive things in the universe. Praise is the utterance of appreciation. We do not praise clay because we do not appreciate it. The day is coming when we, the sons of God, will be appreciated by all the angels. The more they look at us, the more utterance they will have that will flow out as praise to God. Their appreciation of us will become their praise to God. They will realize that what we are is the work of God's abounding grace. The amount of praise depends upon how much work the abounding grace has done.
