복음은 희년임

성경말씀

(눅4:18~19) "주님의 영께서 나에게 임하시니, 이것은 나에게 기름 부으시어 가난한 이들에게 복음을 전하게 하시고, 나를 보내시어 포로 된 이들에게 해방을 선포하며, 눈먼 이들에게 시력의 회복을 선포하고, 억눌린 이들에게 자유를 주며, 주님께서 사람들을 기쁘게 받아들이시는 희년의 해를 선포하게 하시기 위한 것입니다."

오늘의 만나

여기서 우리는 하나님께서 가난한 자들에게 좋은 소식을 전하시도록 그분에게 기름 부으심으로 인하여 주님의 영이 사람-구주 위에 임하셨음을 봅니다. "좋은 소식을 전하다"로 번역된 헬라어 유앙겔리조(euaggelizo)는 "복음을 전하다", "좋은 소식을 알리다"라는 뜻입니다. 복음을 전파하는 것은 하나님의 기름부음 받은 이, 곧 메시야인 구주에게 부여된 첫째 위임이었습니다. 좋은 소식은 가난한 이들, 즉 하늘에 속한 가난한 이들, 영적으로 가난한 이들, 신성한 것들에 있어서 가난한 이들에게 전파되어야 했습니다(계3:17). 누가복음 4장 18절은 포로 된 이들, 눈먼 이들, 억눌린 이들을 말합니다. 포로 된 이들은 사탄의 속박 아래 있는 유배자와 갇힌 자로 사로잡힌 자들입니다. 눈먼 이들은 육체적으로나 영적으로 눈먼 이들을 포함합니다(요9:39~41). 시력의 회복은 사탄의 권세로부터 해방되는 것과 관계있습니다(행26:18). "억눌린"으로 번역된 헬라어는 "산산히 부서지다"는 뜻을 가진 동사에서 왔습니다. 억눌린 이들은 병이나 죄로 사탄 아래 억눌린 자들입니다. 누가복음 4장 19절에서 우리는 사람-구주께서 "주님께서 사람들을 기쁘게 받아들이시는 해를 선포하도록" 기름부음 받으셨음을 봅니다. 주님께서 사람들을 기쁘게 받아들이는 해는 신약시대 전체이며, 희년으로 예표되었습니다(레25:8~17). 이 때는 하나님께서 죄에 사로잡혔다 돌아오는 이들을 받아들이시는 때이며, 죄의 속박 아래 억눌린 자들이 하나님의 구원의 해방을 누리는 때입니다. Luke 4:18~19 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to announce the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to send away in release those who are oppressed, To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, the year of jubilee."

Words of Ministry

Here we see that the Spirit of the Lord was upon the Man-Savior because God had anointed Him to bring good news to the poor. The Greek word rendered "bring good news" is euaggelizo, which means to evangelize, to announce good news. To preach the gospel was the first commission of the Savior as God's anointed One, the Messiah. The good news was to be preached to the poor, that is, to the poor in heavenly, spiritual, and divine things (Rev. 3:17). Luke 4:18 speaks of captives, the blind, and those who are oppressed. The captives are prisoners of war, as exiles and prisoners under Satan's bondage. The blind include those who are physically and spiritually blind (John 9:39-41). Recovery of sight is related to release from the power of Satan (Acts 26:18). The Greek word translated "oppressed" comes from a verb meaning to break in pieces. Those who are oppressed are those oppressed under Satan in sickness or in sin (John 8:34). In Luke 4:19 we see that the Man-Savior was anointed to "proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord." This acceptable year is the New Testament age typified by the year of jubilee (Lev. 25:8-17), the time when God would accept the returned captives of sin and when the oppressed under the bondage of sin would enjoy the release of God's salvation.
