그리스도는 새사람 안에서 모든 것이시며 모든 것 안에 계심

성경말씀

(골3:10~11) 새사람을 입었기 때문입니다... 거기에는 헬라인과 유대인이나, 할례자와 무할례자나, 야만인이나 스구디아인이나, 노예나 자유인이 없습니다. 오직 그리스도께서 모든 것이시며 모든 것 안에 계십니다.
(고전12:12) 왜냐하면 몸은 하나인데 많은 지체가 있고, 몸의 지체는 많지만 모두가 한 몸인 것같이, 그리스도도 그와 같으시기 때문입니다.

오늘의 만나

골로새서 3장 11절의 '거기에는'이라는 말씀은 10절의 새사람과 관련되는데, 그 의미는 '새사람 안에는'입니다. 새사람 안에는 타고난 사람이 없습니다. 더 나아가 타고난 사람을 위한 어떤 가능성도, 여지도 없습니다. 철학적인 지혜를 좋아하는 헬라인도 있을 수 없고, 기적적인 표적을 좋아하는 유대인(고전1:22)도 있을 수 없습니다. 할례자나 무할례자도 있을 수 없습니다. 할례자는 유대인의 종교적인 의식을 지키는 사람들을 가리킵니다. 무할례자는 유대인의 종교를 주의하지 않는 사람들을 가리킵니다. 더 나아가 새사람 안에는 야만인도 스구디아인도 노예도 자유인도 있을 수 없습니다. 야만인은 문명화되지 않은 사람이며, 스구디아인은 가장 야만적인 민족으로 여겨졌었습니다. 노예는 팔려서 노예가 된 사람이며, 자유인은 노예로부터 벗어나 자유롭게 된 사람입니다. 우리가 어떤 사람이든지, 새사람과 관한한 우리는 우리 자신을 아무것도 아닌 사람으로 여겨야 합니다. 새사람 안에는 오직 그리스도를 위한 여지만 있으며, 타고난 사람을 위한 여지는 전혀 없습니다. 그러므로 교회 안에서 우리 모두는 아무것도 아닌 사람입니다. 새사람 안에서 "그리스도는 모든 것이시며, 모든 것 안에 계십니다." 새사람 안에는 오직 그리스도를 위한 여지만 있을 뿐입니다. 그분은 새사람의 모든 지체이시며 모든 지체 안에 계십니다. 그분은 새사람 안에서 모든 것이십니다. 사실 그분이 새사람이시요, 몸이십니다(고전12:13). 새사람 안에서 그리스도는 중심이시오, 모든 것이십니다. Christ is All and in All in the New Man

Where there cannot be Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free man, but Christ is all and in all. 1 Cor 12:12 For even as the body is one and has many members, yet all the members of the body, being many, are one body, so also is the Christ.

Words of Ministry

The word where, [v. 11 above] referring to the new man in verse 10, means in the new man. There is no natural person in the new man. Furthermore, there is no possibility, no room, for any natural person. There cannot be Greeks, who are for philosophical wisdom, and Jews, who are for miraculous signs (1 Cor. 1:22). There cannot be circumcision and uncircumcision. Circumcision refers to the observers of the Jewish religious rituals; uncircumcision refers to those who do not care for the Jewish religion. Furthermore, in the new man there cannot be barbarian, Scythian, slave, or freeman. A barbarian is an uncultured person, the Scythians were considered the most barbarous people, the slaves were those sold into slavery, and the freemen were those who had been freed from slavery. No matter what kind of person we may be, as far as the new man is concerned, we must regard ourselves as nobodies. In the new man there is room only for Christ, not for any kind of natural person. Therefore, in the church we all are nobodies. In the new man "Christ is all and in all."; In the new man there is room only for Christ. He is all the members of the new man and in all the members. He is everything in the new man. Actually, He is the new man, His Body (1 Cor. 12:13). In the new man Christ is the centrality and universality.
