진리 이만나

그리스도와 함께 감추어지고 그분과 함께 나타남

성경말씀

(골3:3~4) 왜냐하면 여러분은 이미 죽었고, 여러분의 생명은 그리스도와 함께 하나님 안에 감추어져 있기 때문입니다. 그리스도는 우리의 생명이십니다. 그분께서 나타나실 그때에 여러분도 그분과 함께 영광 가운데 나타날 것입니다.

오늘의 만나

저는 골로새서 3장 3절의 '감추어져 있다'라는 말씀을 귀하게 여깁니다. 오늘 우리의 생명은 하나님 안에 그리스도와 함께 감추어져 있습니다. 그러나 어느 날 그리스도는 나타날 것이고, 우리는 그분과 함께 영광 가운데 나타날 것입니다. 비록 우리가 미래에 그리스도와 함께 나타나겠지만, 지금은 우리가 감추어져 있는 때입니다. 현재는 그리스도조차 감추어져 있습니다. 그분이 얼마나 비방을 받고, 반대를 당하고, 공격을 당하고 있는지 생각해 보십시오. 사람들은 마치 그분이 존재하지 않는 것처럼 그분에 대항하여 반역합니다. 비록 그리스도께서 이러한 공격과 반역으로 고난을 받으시지만, 그분은 계속 잠잠하시고 숨어 계십니다. 우리는 다른 사람이 알지 못하는 많은 것들을 해야 합니다. 우리 그리스도인의 생활은 감추어진 생활 즉, 하나님 안에 그리스도와 함께 감추어진 생활이어야 합니다. 우리의 교회생활은 하나님 안에, 하늘들 안에 감추어져 있어야 합니다. 그리스도께서 나타나실 때 우리는 그분과 함께 나타날 것입니다. 그때가 그리스도와 함께 우리가 나타날 때일 것입니다. 로마서 8장에 따르면 우리는 어느 날 그리스도와 함께 영광스럽게 될 것입니다. 로마서 8장 19절에서 "창조물은 간절한 기대를 가지고 하나님의 아들들이 나타나기를 간절히 기다리고 있습니다." 그 때에는 "창조물 자신은 썩음의 노예 상태에서 해방되어 하나님의 자녀들의 영광의 자유에" 이를 것이라고 말합니다(21절). 우리가 영광 가운데 우리의 그리스도와 함께 나타날 때는 얼마나 놀라운 날이 되겠습니까! 그때에는 심지어 우리의 비천한 몸도 영광스러운 몸으로 변형될 것입니다. 그러나 우리가 그 놀라운 날을 기다리면서 우리는 하나님 안에, 하늘들 안에, 그리고 교회 안에 감추어진 채로 있어야 합니다. Hidden with Christ and Manifested with Him

Col 3:3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. (4) When Christ our life is manifested, then you also will be manifested with Him in glory.

Words of Ministry

I appreciate the word hidden in 3:3. Today our life is hidden with Christ in God. But one day Christ will appear, and we shall be manifested with Him in glory. Although we shall be manifested with Christ in the future, now is the time for us to be hidden. At present, even Christ is hidden. Think of how much He is criticized, opposed, and attacked. People rebel against Him to such an extent that it almost seems as if He does not exist. Although Christ is suffering from this attack and rebellion, He continues to be silent and hidden. We should do many things that are not known by others. Our Christian life should be a hidden life, a life hidden with Christ in God. Our church life should also be hidden in God and in the heavens. When Christ appears, we shall appear with Him. That will be the time of our manifestation with Christ. According to Romans 8, we shall one day be glorified with Christ. In Romans 8:19 we are told that the “creation eagerly expects the revelation of the sons of God,” at which time it will “be freed from the slavery of corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God” (v. 21). What a wonderful day it will be when we appear with our Christ in glory! At that time, even our vile body will be transfigured into a glorious body. But as we await that wonderful day, we must remain hidden with Christ in God, in the heavens, and in the church.
