문제가 다가올 때 찬미를 발함

성경말씀

(대하20:15) ... 여호와께서 여러분에게 이렇게 말씀하십니다. '이 큰 무리 때문에 두려워하지 말고 겁내지도 마라. 싸움은 너희에게 달린 것이 아니라 하나님에게 달린 것이다.
(17) 너희는 이 전투에서 싸울 것이 없다. 다만 자리를 지켜라. 유다와 예루살렘아! 서서 너희 가운데 이루어질 여호와의 구원을 보아라 …
(22) 사람들이 큰 소리로 노래하며 찬양하기 시작하자, 여호와께서 복병을 두시어 유다를 치러 나오는 암몬 자손과 모압 자손과 세일산 주민을 치게 하시니, 그들이 패배하였다.

오늘의 만나

전쟁은 하나님께 속한 것입니다! 승패는 우리와 아무런 관계가 없습니다. 성질, 교만, 의심 많고 더러운 생각, 탐심 등 각종 죄들은 우리와 아무런 관계가 없습니다. 왜냐하면 승패는 여러분께 속한 것이 아니라 하나님께 속한 것이기 때문입니다. 하나님은 '싸움은 너희에게 달린 것이 아니라 하나님에게 달린 것이다.'라고 말씀하셨습니다. 하나님은 우리에게 손을 완전히 내려놓으라고 말씀하십니다. 하나님은 우리가 완전히 상관하지 말 것을 요구하십니다. 우리는 다만 서서 '여호와의 구원'을 보아야 합니다. 형제자매님들, 우리는 전쟁하는 사람이 아니라 전쟁을 관람하는 사람들입니다. 여호사밧은 한 가지를 더했습니다. 많은 무리가 결탁하여 그를 공격했는데 그는 어떻게 했습니까? 그는 한 무리 레위인들이 일어나 여호와를 찬송하라고 했습니다. 그는 그들에게 거룩한 예복을 입히고 군대 앞에서 행하며 여호와를 찬송하게 했습니다. 이 사람들은 미친 것이 아닙니까? 그들은 돌이나 화살을 두려워하지 않았습니다. 그들은 노래하며 하나님을 찬송했습니다. 이것이 승리의 멜로디입니다. 승리의 멜로디는 곧 여호와께서 승리를 이미 당신에게 주셨음을 알고 대적이 이미 실패한 것을 아는 것이며 당신이 이미 승리한 것을 아는 것입니다. 사람들은 시험이 오는 것을 볼 때 발버둥치며 대적해야 한다고 말합니다. 그러나 하나님은 '사람들이 큰 소리로 노래하며 찬양하기 시작하자, 여호와께서 복병을 두시어 유다를 치러 나오는 암몬 자손과 모압 자손과 세일산 주민을 치게 하시니, 그들이 패배하였다.'라고 말씀하셨습니다. 언제든지 여호와를 찬양할 때 대적은 패하게 됩니다. 2 Chron 20:15 ...Thus says Jehovah to you, do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God's (17) It is not for you to fight in this battle. Station yourselves; stand and see the salvation of Jehovah among you... (22) And when they began to shout in song and to praise, Jehovah set ambushes for... [those] who were coming out against Judah; and they were struck.

Words of Ministry

The battle is the Lord's! Victory or failure has nothing to do with us. Temper, pride, doubt, unclean thoughts, greed, and all kinds of sins have nothing to do with us. The battle is not ours, but God's. God has said, “Ye shall not need to fight in this battle.” God demands only that we stand still. He wants us to put down our hands and leave everything up to Him. We need only to stand still and “see the salvation of the Lord.” Brothers and sisters, we are not the ones who are fighting; we are the spectators. Jehoshaphat did one thing more... Others were joining hands to attack them, but what were they doing on their part? [they appointed singers unto the LORD] , and they went before the army to praise Jehovah. Were they crazy? They were not afraid of rocks and arrows; they were singing praises to God. This is the tone of victory. They had the tone of victory because they knew that Jehovah had given them the victory and that the enemies were already defeated. They knew that they had already won the battle. Some believe that when temptations come, they should struggle and withstand them. But God said, “And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten” (v. 22). Whenever songs of praises are sung to the Lord, the enemies are defeated.
