끊임없이 빛나는 교회의 간증

(요9:5) 내가 세상에 있는 동안, 나는 세상의 빛입니다.
(엡5:8) 여러분이 전에는 어둠이었으나, 이제는 주님 안에서 빛입니다. 빛의 자녀들 답게 행하십시오.

오늘의 만나

양초의 빛이 얼마나 오래 지속될 수 있습니까? 물론 양초가 다 타면 빛은 사라질 것입니다. 그러나 우리가 이 양초로 다른 양초에 불을 붙인다면, 빛은 두 배로 강렬해 질 것입니다. 첫 번째 양초로 두 번째 양초를 밝혔기 때문에 불이 줄어들었습니까? 그렇지 않습니다. 우리가 세 번째 양초를 밝히기 위해 두 번째 양초를 사용한다면, 두 번째 양초의 불이 줄어듭니까? 그렇지 않습니다. 각 양초의 불은 그 양초가 다 탈 때까지 지속될 것입니다. 그러나 첫 번째 불이 사라졌을 때, 두 번째 양초는 여전히 불타고 있을 것입니다. 두 번째 불이 없어졌을 때, 세 번째 불은 여전히 빛날 것입니다. 우리가 더 많은 양초-열 개, 백 개, 천 개의 양초- 에 계속해서 불을 붙인다면, 불은 결코 없어지지 않을 것입니다. 이것이 교회의 간증을 설명하는 것입니다. 하나님의 아들이 이 땅에 계셨을 때, 그분은 첫 번째 양초이셨습니다. 그 후에 더 많은 양초 에 하나 둘 씩 불이 켜지기 시작했습니다. 지난 19세기 동안 교회는 양초와 같았습니다. 한 양초가 다 타면 다른 것이 그 뒤를 계속 이었습니다. 이것이 심지어 오늘날까지 온 것 입니다. 교회는 이 땅에서 구원이 멈추지 않은 것과 마찬가지로 빛나기를 멈춘 적이 없습니다. 어떤 때는 열 개 정도의 양초가 켜져 있었고, 어떤 때는 백 개가 켜져 있었을 것입니다. 양초가 다 타고 다른 양초가 켜져 있으면서 빛이 계속된 것입니다. 모든 그리스도인들은 다른 이들에게 구원을 줄 수 있도록 최선을 다해야 합니다. 그는 다른 이들에게 간증이 되며 그들을 주님께 인도하도록 최선을 다해야 합니다. 그렇게 함으로 간증이 이 땅에서 세대와 세대를 거쳐 계속될 수 있도록 해야 합니다. The Continual Shining of the Church's Testimony

How long will the light of a candle last? Of course, the light will go out when the candle burns out. But if we light another candle with this one, the light will double in intensity. Will the light of the first candle diminish because it has lit the second? No. If we use the second to light a third, will the light of the second diminish? No. The light of each candle will last until the candle burns out. But when the first light goes out, the second will still be burning. When the second light goes out, the third will still go on shining. If we keep on lighting more candles-ten, a hundred, or a thousand candles-the light will never go out. This explains the testimony of the church. When the Son of God was on earth, he lit the first candle. After that, more candles were lit one after another. For the past nineteen centuries, the church has been like candles; when one candle burns out, it is continued by another one. This goes on and on even today. The church has never ceased shining on this earth, just as salvation has never stopped. Some have lit ten candles; some have lit a hundred. Candle after candle has been lit, and the light continues on. Every Christian must try his best to bring salvation to others. He must do his best to testify to others and lead others to the Lord so that the testimony may continue on this earth from generation to generation.
