최고 수준의 도덕성(1)

성경말씀

오늘의 만나

나는 우리가 의미하는 최고 수준의 도덕성을 좀 더 설명하기 원합니다. 창세기 1장에서 우리는 사람이 하나님의 모양에 따라 하나님의 형상으로 창조되었음을 봅니다. 하나님은 사랑이며 빛이십니다. 사랑은 하나님의 존재의 본성이고, 빛은 하나님의 표현의 본성입니다. 더 나아가 하나님은 거룩하시고 의로우십니다. 하나님은 그분의 본성 안에서 거룩하시고 그분의 행위 가운데 의로우십니다. 이 네 가지 속성들-사랑, 빛, 거룩, 의로움-은 하나님의 율법에 의해 계시되었습니다. 사람이 하나님의 형상으로 창조되었다는 것은 사람이 하나님의 어떠하심에 따라 창조되었다는 의미입니다. 사람은 사랑이시고 빛이시고 거룩하고 의로우신 하나님에 따라 창조되었습니다. 그러나 사람이 창조될 당시 사람은 그 안에 하나님을 소유하지는 않았습니다. 이런 이유로 하나님께서는 그분이 창조하신 그 사람을 생명나무 앞에 두셨습니다. 이것은 하나님에 의해 피조된 사람이 그의 안에 하나님을 생명으로 취할 필요가 있었음을 암시합니다. 만일 사람이 하나님을 생명으로 취했다면, 그 때 하나님의 속성들인 사랑, 빛, 거룩, 의 역시 사람 안으로 들어왔을 것입니다. 하나님에 의해 피조된 사람은 단지 하나님의 사랑, 빛, 의로움, 거룩함의 겉모양만 가졌을 뿐입니다. 사람이 그의 안에 하나님을 그의 생명으로 영접하지 않는다면 이러한 속성들의 실재를 가지지 못합니다. 우리는 창세기를 통해서 사람이 하나님을 그의 생명으로 취하는 데 실패했음을 알고 있습니다. 기 도 : 하나님 아버지, 당신의 사랑과 빛과 거룩과 의를 표현할 수 있도록 생명나무이신 당신을 접촉하고 취하기를 원합니다. 많은 때 이런 미덕들을 살아내는 것에 실패함을 고백합니다. 내 안에서 당신의 생명이 증가됨으로 이런 속성들의 모양만이 아니라 실제를 소유하기 원합니다. Words of Ministry

I would like to explain further what we mean by the highest standard of morality. In chapter one of Genesis we see that man was created in God's image and according to God's likeness. God is love and light. Love is the nature of God's being, and light is the nature of God's expression. Furthermore, God is holy and righteous. God is holy in His nature and righteous in His actions. These four attributes--love, light, holiness, and righteousness--are revealed in the law of God. To say that man was created in the image of God means that man was created according to what God is. Man was created according to the God who is love and light and who is also holy and righteous. However, at the time of his creation man did not have God within him. For this reason, God placed the man created by Him in front of the tree of life. This indicates that it was necessary for the God-created man to take God into him as his life. If man had taken God into him as life, then the divine attributes of love, light, holiness, and righteousness would also have come into man. The man created by God had only the appearance of God's love, light, righteousness, and holiness. Man cannot have the reality of these attributes unless he receives God into him as his life. We know that according to the book of Genesis man failed to take God into him as his life.
