하나님의 영원한 거처의 건축

성경말씀

(사66:1) 주님께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. '하늘은 나의 보좌요, 땅은 나의 발 받침대다. 그러니 너희가 어떻게 내가 살 집을 짓겠으며, 어느 곳에다가 나를 쉬게 하겠느냐?'
(엡2:21~22) 그분 안에서 건축물 전체가 함께 연결되어 자람으로써, 주님 안에서 성전이 되고 있습니다. 여러분도 또한 그분 안에서 함께 건축되어, 영 안에 있는 하나님의 거처가 되고 있습니다.

오늘의 만나

우리가 사도행전을 읽을 때 예수의 이름이 다만 구원을 위한 것이고, 우리가 구원받을 만한 다른 이름이 없다는 것만을 깨달을지도 모릅니다. 돌과 건축자들의 의미를 살피기 위해 더 나아가지 않을 수 있습니다. 특별히 이 건축자들이 무엇을 건축하고 있는지 묻지 않을 수도 있습니다. 그들은 무엇을 건축하고 있습니까? 어떤 이들은 유대교 즉 종교를 건축하고 있다고 생각할 것입니다. 그러나 유대교나 다른 종교를 건축하는 것은 하나님의 의도가 아닙니다. 건축자들 즉 유대교 지도자들은 하나님의 경륜을 몰랐습니다. 마찬가지로 오늘날 많은 믿는 이들은 하나님의 경륜이 무엇인지 알지 못합니다. 성경이 우리에게 계시하는 바는 하나님에게 경륜이 있다는 것이며, 하나님의 경륜은 무언가를 성취하기 위한 계획, 안배, 행정이라는 것입니다. 하나님이 그분의 경륜 안에서 성취하고자 하는 것은 그분의 영원한 거처를 건축하는 것입니다. 하나님의 영원한 거처란 무엇입니까? 하나님의 영원한 거처는 그분 자신을 사람과 섞는 것 즉 하나님과 사람과의 연합입니다. 하늘이나 땅도 하나님의 만족을 위한 그분의 거처가 아닙니다. 하나님과 사람의 연합 외에 그 어떤 것도 하나님이 거하는 장소가 될 자격이 없습니다. 비록 우리가 구약에서는 거의 보지 못하지만, 신약 안에, 특별히 요한복음 안에 완전히 계시되어 있습니다. The Building of God's Eternal Habitation

Isa66:1 Thus says Jehovah, heaven is my throne, and the earth the footstool for My feet. Where then is the house that you will build for Me, and where is the place of My rest? Eph2:21~22 In whom all the building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord; In whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in spirit.

Words of Ministry

In our reading of the book of Acts...we may realize only that the name of Jesus is for salvation, that there is no other name given for us to be saved. We may not go on to consider the significance of the stone and the builders. In particular, we may not ask what these builders were building. What were they building? Some may think that they were building Judaism, that is, building a religion. However, it is not God's intention to build up Judaism or any kind of religion. The Jewish leaders, the builders, did not know God's economy. Likewise, many believers today do not know what God's economy is. The Bible reveals to us that God has an economy. God's economy is a plan, an arrangement, an administration, to accomplish something. What God intends to accomplish in His economy is to build up His eternal habitation. What is God's eternal habitation? God's eternal habitation is the blending of Himself with man, the mingling of God with humanity. Neither heaven nor earth is God's habitation for His satisfaction. Nothing other than the mingling of God with man is qualified to be God's dwelling place. Although we see little concerning this in the Old Testament, it is revealed in full in the New Testament, in particular, in the Gospel of John.
