영과 혼과 몸을 거룩하게 함 (1)

성경말씀

(살전5:23) 그리고 평안의 하나님께서 직접 여러분을 완전히 거룩하게 하셔서, 여러분의 영과 혼과 몸이 온전하게 보존되어, 우리 주 예수 그리스도께서 오실 때에 나무랄 데 없도록 해 주시기를 바랍니다.
(요4:24) 하나님은 영이시니, 경배하는 사람들은 영 안에서 진실함으로 경배해야 합니다.

오늘의 만나

데살로니가전서 5장 23절에 따르면 거룩하게 하시는 분은 평안의 하나님이십니다. 그분의 거룩하게 하심이 평안을 가져옵니다. 우리가 안에 계신 하나님으로 인해 완전히 거룩하게 될 때, 우리는 모든 방면에서 그분에게 평안이 있을 것입니다. 여기서 '거룩하게 함'은 분별됨을 의미합니다. 즉 평범하고 세속적인 모든 것에서 하나님께로 분별되는 것입니다. '완전히'라는 말은 '철저히 완결에 이름'을 의미합니다. 하나님은 우리를 완전히 거룩하게 하시어, 우리 존재 즉 우리의 영과 혼과 몸이 평범하거나 세속적으로 남아있지 않게 하실 것입니다. 바울이 언급한 우리의 영과 혼과 몸이라는 말은 사람이 세 부분 즉 영, 혼, 몸으로 되어 있다는 것을 강하게 가리킵니다. 영은 우리의 가장 내적인 부분, 내적인 기관으로 하나님-의식을 소유하고, 우리로 하나님을 접촉하게 합니다(요4:24, 롬1:9). 혼은 우리의 존재 자체이며 (마16:25, 눅9:25), 영과 몸 사이의 매개체이고, 자아-의식을 소유하며, 우리의 인격을 갖게 합니다. 몸은 우리의 외적인 부분, 외적인 기관으로서, 세상-의식을 소유하며, 우리로 물질적인 세상을 접촉하게 합니다. 몸은 혼을 담고, 혼은 영을 담는 그릇입니다. 거듭난 사람들의 영 안에서 하나님은 그 영으로서 거하십니다. 우리의 혼 안에는 자아가 있고, 몸 안에는 신체적인 감각들이 있습니다. Sanctifying Your Spirit and Soul and Body (1)

1 Thes 5:23 And the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly, and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. John 4:24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truthfulness.

Words of Ministry

According to [1 Thessalonians 5] verse 23, the Sanctifier is the God of peace. His sanctification brings in peace. When we are wholly sanctified by Him from within, we have peace with Him in every way. The word “sanctified” here means to be set apart; it is to be separated unto God from things common or profane. The word “wholly” means entirely, thoroughly, to the consummation. God sanctifies us wholly, so that no part of our being, either of our spirit or soul or body, will be left common or profane. Paul's word concerning our spirit and soul and body strongly indicates that man is of three parts: spirit, soul, and body. The spirit is our inmost part, the inner organ, possessing God-consciousness, that we may contact God (John 4:24; Rom. 1:9). The soul is our very self (Matt. 16:25; Luke 9:25), a medium between our spirit and our body, possessing self- consciousness, that we may have our personality. The body is our external part, the outer organ, possessing world- consciousness, that we may contact the material world. The body contains the soul, and the soul is the vessel of the spirit. In the spirit of the regenerated ones, God as the Spirit dwells; in the soul, our self; and in the body, the physical senses.
