영과 혼과 몸이 온전히 보존됨

성경말씀

(살전 5:23) 그리고 평안의 하나님께서 직접 여러분을 완전히 거룩하게 하셔서, 여러분의 영과 혼과 몸이 온전하게 보존되어, 우리 주 예수 그리스도께서 오실 때에 나무랄 데 없도록 해 주시기를 바랍니다.

데살로니가전서 5장 23절에서 바울은 평안의 하나님께서 우리를 완전히 거룩하게 하실 것이라는 그의 원함, 그의 갈망을 표현합니다. 이 절의 앞부분을 볼 때, 우리를 거룩하게 하시는 면에 대해서 주도권을 가지신 분은 하나님이십니다. 그러나 이 절의 뒷부분에서 우리의 영과 혼과 몸이 보존되는 면에서는 우리가 주도권을 가지고 있습니다. '보존되어'라는 명령은 능동-수동 동사로 생각할 수 있습니다. 이것이 의미하는 바는 우리가 보존되는 데 있어서 주도권이 우리에게 있다는 것입니다. 그러므로 우리는 다음과 같이 기도해야 합니다. "주님, 나의 영과 혼과 몸이 보존되기를 간절히 원합니다. 그러나 나는 이 일을 할 수 없습니다. 그렇지만 나는 주도권을 취합니다. 주님께서 이 일을 하시도록 구합니다." 당신에게는 당신의 온 존재가 온전히 보존되고자 하는 갈망, 열망이 있습니까? 만일 우리에게 이러한 갈망이 없다면, 우리는 주님께 우리에게 긍휼을 주시어 그러한 열망을 갖도록 구해야 할 것입니다. 그러나 만일 우리에게 이미 이러한 원함이 있다면, 우리는 주도적이 되어 주님께서 우리를 보존하시도록 기도할 필요가 있습니다. 하나님은 그분의 운행하심으로 거룩하게 하시는 일을 하시지만, 우리는 보존되고자 하는 열망을 가짐으로써 동역해야 합니다. 우리가 하나님의 갈망과 우리의 열망을 다 소유할 때, 우리를 완전히 거룩하게 하시고, 우리의 전 존재를 보존하고자 하시는, 운행하시는 하나님께 우리의 동역을 드릴 수 있을 것입니다. Being Preserved

1 Thes 5:23 And the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly, and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Words of Ministry

In [1 Thessalonians 5] verse 23 Paul expresses his wish, his desire, that the God of peace would sanctify us wholly. In the first part of the verse, concerning God's sanctifying us, it is God who takes the initiative. But in the second part of the verse, concerning our spirit, soul, and body being preserved, we are the ones who should somehow take the initiative. The command “be preserved” may be regarded as an active- passive verb. This means that we take the initiative to be preserved. However, God is the One who preserves our spirit, soul, and body. Therefore, we should pray, “Lord, I long to have my spirit, soul, and body preserved. However, I cannot do this work. I take the initiative, Lord, to ask You to do this.” Do you have the desire, the aspiration, that your entire being would be preserved complete? If we do not have this desire, we should ask the Lord to have mercy on us and grant us such an aspiration. But if we already have this longing, we then need to take the initiative to pray that the Lord would preserve us. The sanctifying work is God's operation, but the aspiration to be preserved is our cooperation. When we have both God's desire and our aspiration, we then have our cooperation with God's operation to sanctify us wholly and to preserve our entire being.
