권유하고, 격려하고, 붙들어주고, 오래 참음(2)

성경말씀

(살전 5:11) 그러므로 여러분이 해 오던 대로 서로 위로하고 서로 건축하십시오.
(14) 형제님들, 우리가 여러분에게 또 권유합니다. 무질서하게 사는 사람들을 훈계하며, 마음이 약한 사람들을 위로하고, 연약한 사람들을 붙들어 주며, 모든 사람에게 오래 참으십시오.
(엡 4:2) 모든 일에서 겸허하고 온유하며, 또 오래 참음으로써, 사랑 안에서 서로를 짊어지고

오늘의 만나

오늘날 우리는 여전히 옛창조 안에 있고, 새예루살렘 안에 있지 않습니다. 그러므로 성도들 가운데는 많은 문제가 있는 것입니다. 내 경험에 따르면, 우리 중 모든 사람은 다른 사람들에게 골칫거리입니다. 내가 당신에게 문제일 수 있고, 당신은 나에게 문제가 될 수 있습니다. 한편으로 우리는 모든 성도들을 사랑하지만, 다른 한편으로는 그들이 우리에게 문젯거리일 수 있습니다. 그러므로 우리는 모든 사람들에 대하여 오래 참는 것이 필요합니다. 우리는 교회생활이 유토피아와 같을 것이라고 꿈꾸지 말아야 합니다. 반대로 교회생활은 문제로 가득합니다. 어떤 의미에서 교회는 병든 사람으로 가득한 병원입니다. 그러므로 우리는 모든 성도들에 대하여 오래 참는 것이 필요합니다. 다른 사람들이 당신에게 문제가 된다 해도 괴로워하지 마십시오. 심지어 그 문제가 중요하지 않고 사소한 것이라 할지라도 말입니다. 특별히 혼의 분량이 적은 사람들은 당신에게 사소한 문제를 가지고 올 수 있습니다. 그러한 사소한 문제를 가지고 당신에게 왔다고 해서 화를 내지 말고, 오히려 그들을 도와 그 문제를 처리하도록 하십시오. 장로들은 오래 참는 것을 배우십시오. 특별히 약한 사람들, 혼의 분량이 적은 사람들을 향하여 그리해야 합니다. 그러나 데살로니가전서 5장 14절의 바울의 말은 장로들에 국한되는 것이 아닙니다. 그것은 모든 성도를 위한 말씀입니다. (14) And we exhort you, brothers, Admonish the disorderly, console the fainthearted, sustain the weak, be long-suffering toward all. Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with long- suffering, bearing one another in love.

Words of Ministry

Today we are still in the old creation, not in the New Jerusalem. This is the reason there are many problems among the saints. According to my experience, every one of us can be a problem to others. I may be a problem to you, and you may be a problem to me. On the one hand, we may love all the saints; on the other hand, they may cause us problems. Therefore, we need to be longsuffering toward all. We should not dream that the church will be a utopia. On the contrary, the church life is full of problems. In a sense, the church is a hospital filled with those who are sick. For this reason, we need to be longsuffering toward all the saints. Do not be bothered when others come to you with problems, even with problems that seem to be small and insignificant. In particular, those who are little-souled may come to you with minor problems. Instead of being angry at them for bringing such a small thing to you, help them to deal with their problems. Elders, learn to be longsuffering, especially toward the weak and those with a little soul. Paul's word in verse 14, however, is not limited to elders; it is a word for all the saints.
