하나님께 인정받음

성경말씀

(살전2:4) 오히려 우리는 하나님께 인정받아서 복음을 위임 받게 되었습니다. 그러므로 우리가 말하는 것은 사람을 기쁘게 하려는 것이 아니라, 우리의 마음을 살피시는 하나님을 기쁘시게 해 드리려는 것입니다. 시26:2 주님, 나를 샅샅이 살펴보시고, 시험하여 보십시오. 나의 속 깊은 곳과 마음을 달구어 보십시오

하나님의 위임은 그분이 인정하신 것에 달려있습니다. 사도들은 먼저 하나님께 시험받고, 그후 인정받았습니다. 그후에서야 하나님은 그들에게 복음을 위임하였습니다. 그러므로 사도들이 복음을 말하고 전파한 것은 그들 자신으로부터 사람들을 기쁘게 하기 위한 것이 아니라 하나님으로부터 하나님을 기쁘게 하기 위한 것이었습니다. 하나님은 항상 사도들의 마음을 점검하시고, 살피시고, 시험하십니다(시26:2, 139:23-24). 데살로니가전서 2장 4절에서 '인정받음'이라는 말은 시험받는 것을 내포합니다. 하나님은 사도들을 인정하시기 전에, 그들을 시험하십니다. 이 인정받음에 근거하여 하나님은 사도들에게 복음을 위임하셨습니다. 왜냐하면 하나님은 우리의 마음을 아시기 때문입니다. 우리는 하나님께서 이미 모든 것을 알고 계시기 때문에 우리를 시험할 필요가 없다고 생각합니다. 그렇습니다. 우리가 태어나기도 전에 하나님은 이미 우리가 어떤 종류의 사람이 될 것인지 알고 계셨습니다. 그런데 왜 하나님은 우리를 시험하십니까? 하나님의 시험하심은 주로 그분 자신을 위한 것이 아니라, 우리를 위한 것입니다. 하나님은 우리를 알고 계시지만 우리는 우리 자신을 모릅니다. 우리는 자신에 대해 잘 모르기 때문에 올바르고, 정직하고, 신실하다고 생각합니다. 그러나 시험에 처할 때 우리가 정말 어떠한지를 알게 되고, 우리 안에는 정직하거나, 신실하거나, 신뢰할만한 것이 없다는 것을 발견하게 됩니다. 그러므로 하나님의 시험은 우리에게 자신이 어떠한 사람인지 보여줍니다. 하나님이 이러한 방식으로 우리를 시험하신 후에야 우리는 인정될 수 있습니다. 하나님은 우리를 시험하시고 인정받게 될 때까지는 우리에게 어떤 것도 위임하지 않으십니다. 하나님의 위임은 우리의 인정받음에 기초합니다. 그러나 우리는 자신을 입증할 수 없습니다. 하나님이 우리를 시험하신 후에야 그분은 우리에게 인정됨을 허락하십니다. 그런후 하나님은 우리에게 무언가를 위임하시고 우리를 사용하기 시작하십니다. Words of Ministry

God's entrusting depends on His approval by His testing. The apostles were first tested and approved by God and then were entrusted by Him with the gospel. Hence, their speaking, the preaching of the gospel, was not of themselves to please men, but was of God to please Him. He proves, examines, and tests their hearts all the time (Psa. 26:2; 139:23-24). The word “approved” in verse 4 implies being tested. God tested the apostles before He approved them. Based upon this approvedness, God entrusted them with the gospel. God did this in a careful way, for He knows our hearts. According to our opinion, since God already knows everything, it is not necessary for Him to test us. Yes, before we were born, He already knew what kind of person we would be. Why, then, does God test us? God's testing is not mainly for Himself; it is primarily for us. God knows us, but we do not know ourselves. Because we do not know ourselves adequately, we may think that we are upright, honest, and faithful. However, when we are put to the test, we shall see what we really are and discover that in ourselves we are not honest, faithful, or trustworthy. God's testing, therefore, proves us to ourselves. Only after God proves us in this way shall we have approvedness. God cannot entrust anything to us until we have the approvedness that comes from His testing. God's entrusting is based on our approvedness. But we cannot approve ourselves. Only after God has tested us will He grant us approvedness. Then He will entrust something to us and begin to use us.
