주님의 만찬의 제정

(마26:26~28) 그들이 먹고 있을 때, 예수님께서 떡을 가지시어 축복하시고, 떼시어 제자들에게 주시며 "받아서 드십시오. 이것이 내 몸입니다."라고 하시고, 또 잔을 가지시어 감사드리시고, 그들에게 주시며 말씀하셨다. "여러분은 다 이것을 마시십시오. 이것은 죄들이 용서받을 수 있도록 많은 사람을 위하여 쏟는 나의 피, 곧 언약의 피입니다.

오늘의 만나

모든 하나님의 자녀들은 교회 안의 주님의 만찬에 참여해야 합니다. 이 만찬은 주 예수님에 의해 그분이 이땅에 계시는 마지막날 저녁에 제정되었습니다. 그분은 그 다음 날 십자가에 못박히셔야 했습니다. 이 만찬에는 배경이 있습니다. 유대인들에게는 '유월절'이라 불리는 절기가 있었습니다. 그것은 애굽에서의 노예상태로부터 구출된 것을 기념하기 위한 것이었습니다. 하나님께서 그들을 어떻게 구원하셨습니까? 하나님은 이스라엘 자손들에게 그들의 아비의 집에 따라, 각 집에 한 마리씩 어린양을 취하여, 첫째 달 열넷째 되는 날에 죽일 것을 명하셨습니다. 또한 피를 취하여 각 집의 좌우 설주와 인방에 바르라고 하셨습니다. 그날 밤 그들은 무교병과 쓴나물과 함께 양고기를 먹었습니다. 출애굽 후 하나님은 그들에게 이 유월절을 매년 기념으로 지키도록 명하셨습니다(출12:1~28). 그러므로 유대인들에게 유월절은 그들이 구출된 것을 상기하도록 제정된 것이었습니다. 주 예수님이 세상을 떠나기 전 마지막 밤은 바로 유월절 절기의 밤이었습니다. 유월절 어린양을 제자들과 먹은 후 주님은 그분 자신의 만찬을 제정하셨습니다. 주님은 유대인들이 유월절 절기를 취하는 방식과 같은 방식으로, 우리가 그분의 만찬을 취하도록 우리에게 보이고자 하셨던 것입니다. Words of Ministry

There is a supper in the church which all God's children should attend. This supper was instituted by the Lord Jesus on the last night He was on earth. He was to be crucified the next day. There is a history behind this supper. The Jews had a feast called the Passover; it was for remembering their deliverance from slavery in Egypt. How did God save them? God commanded the children of Israel to take a lamb, according to the house of their father, one lamb for a house, and slaughter it on the evening of the fourteenth day of the first month. After that they had to take the blood and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper doorpost of their houses. That night they ate the flesh together with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. After the exodus from Egypt, God commanded them to keep this feast every year as a memorial (Exo. 12:1-28). Hence, to the Jews, the Passover was instituted as a reminder of their deliverance.The last night before the Lord Jesus departed from the world was the very night of the Passover feast. After the Lord ate the Passover lamb with the disciples, He instituted His own supper. The Lord was trying to show us that we should take His supper in the same way the Jews took the Passover feast.
