하나님의 왕국과 영광 안으로 부르심받음

성경말씀

(살전2:12) 그것은 그분 자신의 왕국과 영광 안으로 여러분을 부르신 하나님께 여러분이 합당하게 행하도록 하기 위한 것입니다.
(엡4:1) 그러므로 주님 안에 갇힌 사람인 내가 여러분에게 권합니다. 여러분은 부름을 받았으니 그 부름에 합당하게 행하십시오.

오늘의 만나

데살로니가전서 2장 12절의 문맥으로부터 우리는 하나님의 왕국과 영광 안으로 부르심 받은 것이 하나님께 합당히 행하는 것과 관련되어 있음을 볼 수 있습니다. 우리가 하나님께 합당히 행할 때 우리에게는 어떤 특별한 분위기가 있게 되며, 이 분위기가 하나님의 왕국입니다. 더욱이 하나님의 왕국이 있는 곳에 또한 하나님의 영광이 있습니다. 우리의 결혼생활에서 하나님의 왕국과 하나님의 영광이 나타나는 것은 가능한 일입니다. 어떤 형제와 그의 아내가 하나님을 살 때 그들은 하나님께 합당히 행하게 될 것입니다. 그럴 때 그들의 결혼생활에는 어떤 종류의 분위기가 있게 될 것입니다. 다른 사람들이 이 분위기 안으로 들어올 때 그들은 즉시 존경스럽다는 느낌을 갖게 될 것입니다. 이것이 바로 하나님의 영광이 있는 하나님의 왕국입니다. 만일 오늘날 그리스도인들이 하나님께 합당히 행한다면, 그분을 표현하는 방식으로 행한다면 그 왕국은 임할 것입니다. 그럴 때 하나님의 왕국은 이 땅에 나타날 것입니다. 언제든지 우리 안으로부터 주님이 표현될 때, 우리는 영광스럽다고 묘사할 수 있는 상황 안에 있게 됩니다. 만일 어떤 형제가 아내와 다툴 때 누군가가 집에 들어왔다면, 거기에는 어떤 영광도 없을 것입니다. 그러나 만일 여러분이 어떤 형제의 집을 방문하여 그와 그의 아내가 불타오르고 빛나고 넘쳐흐르는 것을 본다면 여러분은 하나님의 표현 곧 하나님의 영광을 보게 될 것입니다. Called into God's Kingdom and Glory

1 Thessalonians 2:12 So that you might walk in a manner worthy of God, who calls you into His own kingdom and glory. Ephesians 4:1 I beseech you therefore, I, the prisoner in the Lord, to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called.

Words of Ministry

From the context of [1 Thes.] 2:12 we can see that being called into God's kingdom and glory is related to walking worthily of God. When we walk worthily of God, there is with us a particular kind of atmosphere, and this atmosphere is God's kingdom. Furthermore, where the kingdom of God is, there the glory of God is also. It is possible for the kingdom of God and the glory of God to be manifested in our married life. If a brother and his wife live God, they will walk worthily of God. Then in their married life there will be a certain kind of atmosphere. When others come into this atmosphere, they will spontaneously have a sense of respect. This is the kingdom of God with God's glory. If today's Christians would walk worthily of God, would walk in a way that expresses Him, the kingdom would come. God's kingdom would then be seen on earth. Whenever the Lord is expressed from within us, we are in a situation that can be described as glorious. If someone would walk into a brother's home when he is arguing with his wife, there would not be any glory. However, if you visit a brother's house and find him and his wife glowing, shining, and flowing, you would see the expression of God, God's glory.
