풍성한 의미가 있는 '주'

성경말씀

(행2:32~33) 이 예수님을 하나님께서 살리셨으며, 우리 모두가 이 일의 증인들입니다. 그러므로 예수님께서 하나님 오른편으로 높아지시고, 약속하신 성령을 아버지께 받으셔서, 여러분이 지금 보고 듣는 성령을 부어 주셨습니다.
(36) 그러므로 이스라엘 온 집은 확실히 알아 두십시오. 여러분이 십자가에 못 박은 이 예수님을 하나님께서 주님과 그리스도가 되게 하셨습니다.
(빌2:11) 모든 입으로 예수 그리스도께서 주님이시라는 것을 공개적으로 시인하여 하나님 아버지께 영광을 돌리도록 하셨습니다.

오늘의 만나

'주'라는 칭호에 합당한 주의를 기울이는 것 또한 중요한 일입니다. 구약에서 이것은 거룩한 칭호로 사용되었습니다. 사람이신 예수가 '주'가 되었다는 것은 간단한 문제가 아닙니다. 사도행전 2장에 따르면 부활과 승천 후에 그리스도는 만유의 주가 되셨습니다. 이것은 한 사람 더구나 나사렛 사람이 만유의 주가 되었다는 것을 의미합니다. '주'라는 칭호가 주 예수님께 적용될 때 그것은 성육신과 인생과 십자가에 못 박힘과 부활과 승천을 함축합니다. 사람 예수가 만유의 주가 된 것은 이와 같은 과정을 통해서였습니다. 성육신 전에도 하나님이신 그리스도는 이미 주이셨습니다. 그러나 그분은 창조의 주이셨습니다. 그러나 오늘날 성육신으로부터 승천까지의 과정을 통과한 후에 사람 예수는 주가 되셨습니다. 신약에서 그리스도께 적용될 때 이 칭호에는 풍성한 의미가 있습니다. 십자가에 못 박히심으로 그리스도는 구속을 성취하시고, 옛창조를 끝내시고, 사탄과 사망을 멸하시고, 하나님과 사람 사이의 모든 장애물을 제거하시고, 사람과 사람 사이의 모든 장애물 또한 제거하셨습니다. 할렐루야! 그리스도의 십자가에 못 박히심이 성취한 역사를 인해 주님을 찬양합시다! 십자가에 못 박히심으로 옛창조를 끝내신 후에 그리스도의 부활은 새창조를 싹트게 했습니다. 이제 성육신 되시고, 십자가에 못 박히시고, 부활하시고, 승천한 분으로 예수 그리스도는 만유의 주가 되셨습니다. 이 모든 과정과 이에 관계된 모든 것이 '주'라는 칭호 안에 함축되어 있습니다. It is important that we pay adequate attention to the title Lord. In the Old Testament this was used as a divine title. It was not a simple matter for the man Jesus to become the Lord. According to Acts 2, after His resurrection and ascension, Christ was made Lord of all. This means that a man, even a Nazarene, has become Lord of all. As applied to the Lord Jesus, the title Lord implies incarnation, human living, crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension. It was through such a process that the man Jesus was made Lord of all. Before the incarnation, Christ as God was already the Lord. However, He was the Lord, the Creator. But today, after a process going from incarnation to ascension, the man Jesus has been made Lord. As applied to Christ in the New Testament, this title is rich in meaning. By His crucifixion Christ accomplished redemption, terminated the old creation, destroyed Satan and death, and abolished every separation between God and man and also all the separations between men. Hallelujah for what the crucifixion of Christ has accomplished! After His crucifixion terminated the old creation, Christ's resurrection germinated the new creation. Now, as the incarnated, crucified, resurrected, and ascended One, Jesus Christ has been made the Lord of all. All this process and everything related to it is implied in the title Lord.
