충만한 지식에까지 새롭게 됨(2)

성경말씀

(골3:10) 새사람을 입었기 때문입니다. 이 새사람은 자기를 창조하신 분의 형상을 따라 온전한 지식에 이르도록 새로워지고 있습니다.
(롬12:2) 여러분은 이 시대를 본받지 마십시오. 오직 여러분은 생각이 새로워짐으로 변화되어 하나님의 선한 뜻, 하나님께서 기뻐하시는 뜻, 하나님의 온전한 뜻이 무엇인지 분별하도록 하십시오.

오늘의 만나

사랑은 감정의 문제이고, 감정은 우리가 생각 안에서 갖고 있는 이해와 관계된 것입니다. 만약 우리가 어떤 것을 잘 이해하지 못한다면, 그것을 많이 좋아하지 않을 것입니다. 이것은 그것을 사랑하는 것을 불가능하게 합니다. 그러나 그것에 관한 우리의 생각이 새로워질 때, 우리의 감정도 그 사랑과 함께 새로워질 것입니다. 생각이 새로워질 때, 감정은 자동적으로 새로워집니다. 우리의 경험이 이것을 확증할 것입니다. 영적인 체험에 있어서나 인간적인 체험에 있어서나 생각은 감정에 영향을 주고 감정은 의지에 영향을 줍니다. 우리는 우리의 감정 안에서 주님에 대한 합당한 사랑을 갖기 위해 우리의 생각 안에서 새로워질 필요가 있습니다. 많은 성도들이 그들의 생각 안에 주님에 대한 많은 지식을 갖고 있지 않기 때문에 주님에 대하여 냉담합니다. 모든 것을 포함한 그리스도에 대한 지식을 더 많이 가지면 가질수록, 그분을 더 좋아하고 더 사랑할 것입니다. 우리에게는 아직도 새롭게 됨이 더 많이 필요하지만, 주 예수님에 대한 지식은 어느 정도 가지고 있습니다. 그분에 대한 이러한 지식이 우리로 하여금 그분을 사랑하게 합니다. 주님에 대한 우리의 사랑과 인식으로부터 우리는 의지를 사용하여 그분을 위하고, 그분을 따르고, 그분을 살고, 그분을 자라게 하고, 그분을 산출하기로 결심합니다. 이 결심은 감정에서 나오고, 그 감정은 그리스도에 대한 합당한 지식에 의해 영향을 받습니다. Being Renewed unto Full Knowledge (2)

Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is being renewed unto full knowledge according to the image of Him who created him. Romans 12:2 And do not be fashioned according to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and well pleasing and perfect.

Words of Ministry

Love is a matter of the emotion, and the emotion is related to the understanding we have in the mind. If we have little understanding of a certain thing, we shall not have much appreciation of it. This will make it impossible for us to love that thing. But when our mind concerning that thing is renewed, our emotion with its love will be renewed also. When the mind is renewed, the emotion is spontaneously renewed as well. Our experience confirms this. Both in spiritual experience and in human experience, the mind affects the emotion, and the emotion affects the will. We need to be renewed in our mind in order to have a proper love for the Lord in our emotion. Many saints are cold toward the Lord because in their minds they do not have much knowledge of Him. The more we have the knowledge of the all- inclusive Christ, the more we shall appreciate Him and love Him. This knowledge of Him causes us to love Him. Out of our love and appreciation for the Lord, we exercise our will to decide to be for Him, to follow Him, and to live Him, grow Him, and produce Him. We decide to live for Him and for His testimony. This decision comes out of the emotion, and the emotion is in turn influenced by the proper knowledge of Christ.
