충만한 지식에까지 새롭게 됨(1)

성경말씀

(골3:10) 새사람을 입었기 때문입니다. 이 새사람은 자기를 창조하신 분의 형상에 따라 온전한 지식에 이르도록 새로워지고 있습니다.

오늘의 만나

골로새인들에게 있는 문제는 그들이 잘못된 종류의 지식을 갖고 있었던 것입니다. 그들은 그리스도를 따르지 않은 철학들을 받아들였습니다. 골로새서 2장 8절에서 바울은 그리스도가 아닌 사람의 유전과 세상의 초등학문을 따른 철학들에 대해 말하고 있습니다. 이제 그는 골로새서 3장 10절에서 하나님의 형상과 표현과 충만을 따른 충만한 지식에 대해서 말하고 있습니다. 새사람에 관해서 우리의 생각은 보이지 않는 하나님의 표현이신 그리스도를 따라서 그러한 충만한 지식에까지 새로워질 필요가 있습니다. 골로새서에 계시된 그리스도에 대한 합당한 이해를 가진 그리스도인은 극소수입니다. 그들의 생각은 그분에 대한 충만한 지식에까지 새롭게 되지 않았습니다. 그 결과 오늘날 많은 그리스도인들이 골로새인들이 그랬던 것과 같이 오도되고 기만되었습니다. 우리의 생각이 모든 것을 포함한 그리스도의 지식으로 충만될 때 우리의 감정이 영향을 받을 것입니다. 이것은 우리로 하여금, 주 예수님에 대한 보다 큰 인식을 갖게 해 줄 것입니다. 예를 들면 어린아이는 상자에 들어 있는 다이아몬드 반지보다 그 벨벳 상자를 훨씬 더 좋아할지 모릅니다. 그 어린아이의 생각에는 다이아몬드 반지의 가치에 대한 지식이 없습니다. 그러나 그 어린아이가 자라면 그 반지에 대한 더 큰 인식을 가질 것입니다. 결국에는 그 반지를 가지려 할 것이고 그 상자는 던져버리게 될 것입니다. Being Renewed unto Full Knowledge (1)

Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is being renewed unto full knowledge according to the image of Him who created him.

Words of Ministry

The problem with the Colossians was that they had the wrong kind of knowledge. In [Colossians] 2:8 Paul speaks of philosophies that are according to the tradition of men and according to the elements of the world, but not according to Christ. Now in 3:10 he speaks of full knowledge according to the image, the expression, the fullness, of God. Concerning the new man, our mind needs to be renewed unto such a full knowledge according to the Christ who is the expression of the invisible God. Our mind needs to be renewed to such an extent that we have a clear view of Christ as the image of God. Few Christians have a proper understanding of the Christ unveiled in the book of Colossians. Their minds have not been renewed unto such a full knowledge of Him. As a result, many Christians today have been misled, deluded, and defrauded, just as the Colossians were. When our mind is filled with the knowledge of the all- inclusive Christ, our emotion will be influenced. This will cause us to have a greater appreciation of the Lord Jesus. For example, a child may have a greater appreciation for a velvet box than for the diamond ring in the box. In the child's mind there is no knowledge of the value of the diamond ring. But as the child grows, he will have a greater appreciation for the ring. Eventually, he will want to keep the ring and throw the box away.
