믿음으로 그리스도의 부활생명을 체험함

성경말씀

(골2:12) 여러분은 침례를 받음으로 그리스도와 함께 장사되었고, 또한 죽은 사람들 가운데서 그분을 살리신 하나님께서 운행하심으로 생긴 믿음을 통하여 그분과 함께 일으켜졌습니다.
(롬6:4) 그러므로 우리가 그분의 죽음 안으로 침례를 받아 그분과 함께 장사된 것을 그리스도께서 아버지의 영광을 통해 죽은 사람들 가운데서 살아나신 것같이, 우리도 또한 생명의 새로움으로 행하기 위한 것입니다.

오늘의 만나

우리는 침례 안에서 그리스도와 함께 장사지낸 바 되었습니다. 침례 안에서 장사지낸다는 것은 육적 몸을 벗고, 끝내고, 던져 버리는 것입니다. 그뿐 아니라 그리스도 안에서 우리는 하나님께서 운행하심으로 생긴 믿음을 통하여 그분과 함께 일으켜졌습니다. 침례 안에는 우리 육신의 끝남인 장사의 면과 우리 영의 발아인 일으키심의 면이 있습니다. 일으키심의 면에 있어서, 우리는 그리스도 안에서 거룩한 생명으로 살아났습니다. 이 구절에서 바울은 이것이 하나님의 운행하심으로 생긴 믿음을 통한 것임을 지적합니다. 믿음은 우리에게서 난 것이 아니라 하나님의 선물입니다(엡2:8). 우리가 하나님께 돌아가서 그분을 접촉할수록, 우리는 더 많은 믿음을 갖게 됩니다. 주님은 우리의 믿음의 주이며, 온전케 하시는 분이십니다(히12:2). 그분 안에 거할수록, 우리는 더욱더 우리의 믿음이신 주님으로 주입됩니다. 우리가 침례의 일으키심의 면이 의미하는 부활 생명을 체험하는 것은 살아계신 하나님의 역사에 대한 이러한 산 믿음으로 말미암은 것입니다. Experiencing Christ's Resurrection Life by Faith

Colossians 2:12 Buried together with Him in baptism, in which also you were raised together with Him through the faith of the operation of God, who raised Him from the dead. Romans 6:4 We have been buried therefore with Him through baptism into His death, in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so also we might walk in newness of life.

Words of Ministry

We have been buried together with Christ in baptism. To be buried in baptism is to put off the body of the flesh, to disrobe or strip it off. Moreover, in Christ we have been raised together through the faith of the operation of God. In baptism there is the burial aspect, which is the termination of our flesh, and the raising aspect, which is the germination of our spirit. In the raising aspect we are made alive in Christ with the divine life. In this verse Paul points out that this is through the faith of the operation of God. Faith is not of ourselves; it is the gift of God (Eph. 2:8). The more we turn to God and contact Him, the more faith we have. The Lord is the Author and Perfecter of our faith. The more we abide in Him, the more we are infused with Him as our faith. It is through this living faith in the operation of the living God that we experience the resurrection life, signified by the raising aspect of baptism.
