진리 이만나

새 옷으로 인해 자격이 있음

성경말씀

(사64:6) 대저 우리는 다 부정한자 같아서 우리의 의는 다 더러운 옷 같으며 우리는 다 쇠패함이 잎사귀 같으므로 우리의 죄악이 바람같이 우리를 몰아가나이다

오늘의 만나

주님은 우리에게 신랑이 우리와 함께 계시다고 말씀하십니다. 그러나 여러분 자신을 보십시오. 여러분은 그분의 임재를 누릴만한 사람입니까? 여러분은 하나님이 보시기에 여러분의 참상태가 신랑의 임재를 누릴 자격이 있다고 생각하십니까? 우리 모두는 "아니오"라고 대답할 것입니다. 우리가 가진 모든 것과 우리의 모든 어떠함은 주님의 임재를 누릴 만하지 못합니다. 주님의 임재를 누리기 위해 우리에게는 어떤 자격이 필요한데, 우리는 그러한 상태와 상황 안에 있어야 합니다. 우리의 타고난 것, 우리의 천연적인 것, 우리가 할 수 있는 모든 것, 우리가 가진 모든 것은 우리에게 신랑의 임재 안에 있을 자격을 주지 못합니다. 신랑은 그리스도요, 그리스도는 하나님 자신입니다. 가령 하나님께서 오늘 당신에게 나타나셨다고 생각해 봅시다. 여러분은 그저 거기에 앉아 있을 수 있겠습니까? 그분은 거룩한 하나님이요, 의로운 하나님이며, 그러한 분이 신랑이십니다. 우리는 마태복음 9장에서 주 예수님이 세리들과 죄인들과 함께 잡수고 계셨던 것을 기억해야 합니다. 우리는 세리들이며 죄인들입니다. 우리에게는 자격이 없으므로 주님의 임재 앞에 앉아 있을 수 있도록 우리를 가리는 무언가가 필요합니다. 이것이 주께서 그분 자신을 신랑으로 말씀하신 후에 우리가 새옷으로 입혀져야 할 필요가 있음을 말씀하신 이유입니다. 우리가 새 옷을 입을 때 그분의 임재를 누릴 자격이 있습니다. 죄인들이며 세리들인 우리는 신랑의 임재를 누릴 만하도록 새옷으로 입혀지는 것이 필요합니다. Being Qualified by Having a New Garment

Isaiah 64:6 For all of us have become like one who is unclean, And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; And all of us wither like a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.

Words of Ministry

The Lord tells us that the Bridegroom is with us. But look at yourself--do you deserve His presence? Do you think that your real condition in the eyes of God is worthy of the presence of the Bridegroom? We must all answer, “No.” All we have and all we are does not deserve the Lord's presence. To enjoy the Lord's presence we need certain qualifications; we need to be in a certain condition, in a certain situation. What we are by birth, what we are naturally, whatever we can do, and whatever we have, do not qualify us to be in the presence of the Bridegroom. The Bridegroom is Christ, and Christ is God Himself. Suppose God appeared to you today. Could you just sit there? He is the holy God, the righteous God, and such a One is the Bridegroom. We must remember the context of these verses in Matthew 9: the Lord Jesus was eating with tax collectors and sinners. We are “tax collectors” and sinners. We are not qualified; we need something to cover us that we may sit in the presence of the Lord. This is why, after the Lord spoke of Himself as the Bridegroom, He told us that we need to be clothed in a new garment. When we put on the new garment, we are worthy of His presence. We as sinners and “tax collectors” need to be clothed in a new garment that we may be worthy of the Bridegroom's presence.
