우리의 모형과 생명이 되시는 그리스도

오늘의 만나

주 예수님은 이 땅에서 삼십삼 년 반을 사시면서 그분을 믿는 모든 사람들이 본받아야 할 모형과 본을 만드셨습니다. 우리는 이런 삶을 우리의 본이신 그리스도를 닮는 것에 대한 현대적인 가르침과 반드시 구분해야 합니다. 현대주의자들에 의하면 그리스도는 하나님이 아니라 우리가 따라야 될 최고의 표준을 세운 사람이라고 거짓되게 가르칩니다. 이 가르침은 그리스도를 닮고 그분의 표준에 미치는 삶을 살기 위해 우리의 천연적인 생명을 훈련할 것을 요구합니다. 이러한 가르침은 이단적인 것입니다. 이것은 절대적으로 예수 안에 있는 진리와 무관한 것입니다. 그것은 참된 믿는이가 그리스도 안에 있으며 또한 그 안에 그리스도가 있다는 사실을 부인하는 것입니다. 이 이단적인 현대주의의 가르침과는 반대로 우리는 신약에 따라 죄인이 회개하고 그리스도를 믿고 그리스도 안으로 침례받을 때, 하나님은 모형이신 그리스도 안으로 이 사람을 넣으신다고 말합니다. 동시에 생명주는 영이신 그리스도는 그 사람의 생명이 되기 위해 그 안으로 들어가십니다. 그후 이 믿는이는 그 모형에 따라 자신의 생명이 되시는 그리스도에 의해 살게 됩니다. 그가 그리스도에 의해 살면 살수록, 자연히 그 모형의 형상대로 더욱 형태를 이루게 될 것입니다. 이것이 그리스도 안에 있는 삶이며, 또한 우리 안에 있는 그리스도의 삶입니다. 우리는 모형이신 그리스도 안에 있고 그분은 우리의 생명으로 우리 안에 계십니다. 이렇게 해서 우리는 예수 안에 있는 진리대로 그리스도를 배웁니다. In His thirty-three and a half years on earth, the Lord Jesus formed the mold, the pattern, to which all those who believe in Him are to be conformed. We must distinguish this kind of living from that according to the modernistic teaching regarding imitating Christ as our example. The modernists falsely teach that Christ is not God, but a man who established the highest standard for us to follow. This teaching requires that we exercise our natural life to imitate Christ and to live up to His standard. Such a teaching is heretical. It has absolutely nothing to do with the truth as it is in Jesus. It denies the fact that a true believer is in Christ and has Christ in him. In contrast to this heretical, modernistic teaching, we say according to the New Testament that when a sinner repents and believes in Christ and is baptized into Christ, God puts this one into Christ as the mold. At the same time, Christ as the life-giving Spirit comes into him to be his life. Thereafter, this believer is to live by Christ as his life according to the mold. The more he lives by Christ, the more he will be spontaneously shaped into the form of the mold. This is a life in Christ and also a life of Christ in us. We are in Christ as the mold, and He is in us as our life. In this way we learn Christ as the truth is in Jesus.
