새사람을 창조하기 위해 차이점들을 없애심

성경말씀

(엡2:15) 규례들로 된 계명의 율법을 자기 육체 안에서 없애 버리셨습니다. 이것은 이 둘을 그분 자신 안에서 한 새사람으로 창조하시어 화평을 이루시려는 것이며 
(4:22) 여러분은 지난날의 생활 방식을 따르는 옛사람, 곧 그 속이는 것의 욕정에 따라 썩어져 가는 옛사람을 벗어 버린 것이며 
(4:24) 새사람, 곧 하나님을 따라 그 실재의 의와 거룩함으로 창조된 새사람을 입은 것입니다.

오늘의 만나

창세기 11장의 바벨 이후로 민족들간에 차이가 생기기 시작했습니다. 그러나 그리스도는 한 새사람을 산출하기 위하여 십자가 위에서 모든 차이를 끝내셨습니다. 유대인의 규례를 제외한 모든 다양한 생활 방식들은 바벨의 유전입니다. 우리는 이 유전을 어떻게 해야 합니까? 우리는 그것을 장사지내야 합니다. 이것은 우리가 이전 생활 방식을 벗어버려야 한다는 것을 의미합니다. 여러분의 생활 방식을 정당화하거나 자랑하지 마십시오. 문제는 어떤 생활 방식이 좋고 어떤 생활 방식이 나쁜가 하는 것이 아닙니다. 모든 생활 방식은 규례들을 포함하고 있으며 그것들은 벗어버려져야 합니다. 소위 교회가 국가를 따라 형성된 것은 얼마나 애통한 일입니까? 예를 들면, 샌프란시스코에는 중국 장로교회가 있습니다. 마치 모든 국가가 소위 교회를 갖고 있는 것 같습니다. 순수한 교회생활을 실행하기 위해 함께 모일 때, 우리는 모두 우리의 민족적인 유전을 벗어버리고 잊어버려야 합니다. 세상적인 사람들은 문화적인 차이를 특성으로 간주합니다. 그러나 그리스도 안에서 우리는 모두 이 특성을 잃어버려야 합니다. 이제 우리의 유일한 특성은 그리스도와 참된 하나입니다. 우리는 모든 다른 이들과 지내는 것을 훈련해야 합니다. 어떤 실행이 우상숭배나 부도덕적인 것과 연관되지 않는 한, 문제될 것이 없습니다. 여러분의 특성을 붙잡지 마십시오. 만일 여러분이 자신들의 문화적인 긍지를 기꺼이 포기하고자 한다면, 주님은 합당한 교회생활, 즉 한 새사람을 얻으실 수 있을 것입니다. Christ Slew Our Differences to Create the One New Man

Ephesians 2:15 Abolishing in His flesh the law of the commandments in ordinances, that He might create the two [peoples] in Himself into one new man, so making peace, 4:22 That you put off, as regards your former manner of life, the old man... (24) And put on the new man

Words of Ministry

After Babel [Genesis 11], there began to be the differences among the peoples. But on the cross Christ slew all these differences in order to produce the one new man... Except for the Jewish ordinances, all the various manners of life are the heritage of Babel. What should we do about this heritage? We should bury it. This means that we must put off the former manner of life. Do not justify your manner of life or glory in it. The issue is not which manner of life is right and which is wrong. Every way of life involves ordinances and must be put off. How deplorable it is to see so-called churches formed according to nationality! For example, in San Francisco there is a Chinese Presbyterian church. It seems that every nationality has a so-called church. When we come together for the practice of the genuine church life, we must all put off our national heritage and forget it. The worldly people regard cultural differences as a mark of prestige. But in Christ we have all lost this prestige. Now our only prestige is Christ and the genuine oneness... We all need to exercise ourselves to go along with others. As long as a certain practice does not involve idolatry or immorality, there is nothing wrong with it. Do not hold on to your prestige. If we are willing to let go of our cultural pride, it will be possible for the Lord to have the proper church life, [the one new man].
