인간의 미덕에 표현된 하나님의 신성한 속성

성경말씀

(엡1:18) 여러분의 마음의 눈을 밝히셔서 하나님께서 여러분을 부르신 그 소망이 무엇이며, 성도들 가운데 있는 하나님의 유업의 영광의 풍성이 무엇인지를 알게 해 주시고,

오늘의 만나

하나님의 영광의 풍성은 여러가지로 표현되는 빛, 생명, 능력, 사랑, 겸손, 인내, 의, 거룩과 같은 그분의 속성들의 많은 항목들입니다. 영광은 하나님의 표현이며, 영광의 풍성은 하나님의 표현의 풍성입니다. 나는 특별히 "신성한"이라는 단어를 쓰는데, 이는 우리가 신성한 것들의 모양을 갖도록 만들어졌기 때문입니다. 예를 들어 우리에게는 인간적인 겸손이 있습니다. 그러나 인간적인 겸손이 참된 겸손은 아닙니다. 이것은 단지 참되고 신성한 겸손의 모양일 뿐입니다. 인간적인 사랑의 진실함도 마찬가지로 참되고 신성한 사랑의 모양일 뿐입니다. 그러므로 인간적인 사랑의 실제는 신성한 사랑입니다. 모든 인류는 사랑을 가지고 있습니다. 그러나 이 사랑은 영원히 지속되지 않습니다. 여러분은 부모님을 사랑하지만, 그 사랑은 얼마 동안만 지속될지도 모릅니다. 우리는 모든 다른 사람을 사랑하지만, 우리의 사랑은 덧없는 그림자일뿐입니다. 어떤 날은 형제가 아내를 지극히 사랑하지만, 다음 날은 아내를 지옥으로까지 끌어내릴 수도 있을 것입니다. 이런 사랑은 하나님의 영광의 풍성의 일부분이 아닙니다. 많은 그리스도인들이 신성한 미덕을 인간적인 미덕과 착각합니다. 이렇게 함으로 그들은 심각한 실수를 하게 됩니다. 우리는 우리의 인간적인 미덕들을 발달시킬 필요가 있는 것이 아니라 우리에게는 신성한 미덕이 부족한 것입니다. 그리스도 안에 계신 하나님이 우리 안으로 이끌렸을 때, 우리의 사랑과 겸손과 인내와 의는 신성한 것이 되었습니다. 이런 신성한 미덕들이 하나님의 영광의 풍성입니다. 이런 미덕들은 성도들간의 하나님의 유업이기도 합니다. God's Divine Attributes Expressed in Our Human Virtues

The riches of God's glory are the many different items of His divine attributes, such as light, life, power, love, humility, patience, righteousness, and holiness, expressed in different degrees. Since glory is God's expression, the riches of glory are the riches of God's expression. I specifically use the word “divine” because we were made in such a way as to have the form of the divine things. For example, we have human humility. Human humility, however, is not the real humility; it is simply the form of the genuine humility, which is the divine humility. The same is true of human love. It also is a form of the genuine, divine love. Hence, divine love is the reality of human love. Every human being has love. But this love is not lasting. You may love your parents, but your love for them may last only for a few days. We all love others, but our love is like a fleeting shadow. One day a brother may love his wife to the uttermost, and the next day he may drag her down to hell. Such love is not a part of the riches of God's glory. Many Christians mistake human virtues for divine virtues. In doing this they make a serious error. We do not need to develop human virtues; we are short of the divine virtues. When God in Christ is wrought into us, our love, humility, patience, and righteousness become divine. These divine virtues are the riches of the glory of God. Such virtues are God's inheritance among the saints.
