서로를 사랑하는 법

성경말씀

(요13:12) 예수님께서 제자들의 발을 씻어 주신 후에, 겉옷을 입으시고 다시 상에 앉으셔서, 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "내가 여러분에게 행한 것을 아시겠습니까?
(14) 주이며 선생인 내가 여러분의 발을 씻어 주었으니, 여러분도 서로 발을 씻어 주어야 합니다.
(34) 내가 새 계명을 여러분에게 줍니다. 서로 사랑하십시오. 내가 여러분을 사랑한 것같이 여러분도 서로 사랑하십시오.

오늘의 만나

주님은 우리에게 서로의 발을 씻어 줄 것을 말씀하셨습니다. 우리는 성령의 역사를 사역함으로, 말씀의 빛비춤을 사역함으로, 내적 생명의 움직이심을 사역함으로 서로의 발을 씻어 주어야 합니다. 이런 식으로 나는 그들을 돕고 그들은 나를 도우며, 성령의 역사 안에서, 말씀의 빛 안에서, 내적 생명의 움직이심 안에서 씻겨짐으로 서로를 돕습니다. 주님이 제자들의 발을 씻기실 때, 그분은 겉옷을 벗으셨습니다. 성경에서 겉옷은 우리가 무엇을 하고 또 어떻게 행동하는가를 상징합니다. 우리가 무엇을 하든지, 우리가 어떻게 행동하든지, 그것이 우리의 겉옷이 됩니다. 여러분의 품행이 좋다면 여러분은 휼륭한 겉옷, 곧 아름답고 영광스러운 것을 갖게 됩니다. 그러나 만일 여러분이 영적으로 다른 이들의 발을 씻어주기를 원한다면 반드시 여러분은 자신이 도달한 것, 자신이 행하고 있던 바, 처신하는 방식 등을 제쳐 두어야 합니다. 여러분이 교만할 때마다 여러분은 결코 어느 누구의 발도 영적으로 씻어줄 수 없습니다. 여러분은 반드시 겸손해야 하고 자신의 겉옷을 벗어야 합니다. 자신의 겉옷을 벗는다는 것은 자신을 겸손하게 하는 것이요, 자신을 비우는 것이요, 자신에 속한 그 무엇을 벗는 것이요, 자신으로부터 그 무엇을 떼어내는 것입니다. 우리 각자는 영적으로 그들의 발을 씻는 것을 사역함으로 형제자매들을 사랑하는 것을 배워야 합니다. 때때로 내가 여러분을 방문할 때 여러분은 내게 대한 사랑을 보여 줌으로써 어느 정도 나의 발을 씻어줄 수 있으며, 나도 여러분에게 그와 동일한 사랑을 보여 줌으로 여러분에게 어느 정도 발씻음이 공급되어 여러분을 땅과의 접촉에서 정결케 해야 합니다. 우리는 반드시 이렇게 해야 합니다. 그렇지 않으면 우리 사이의 교통이 유지될 수 없을 것입니다. How to Love One Another

John 13:12 Then when He had washed their feet and taken His outer garments and reclined at the table again, He said to them, Do you know what I have done to you? (14) If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. (34) A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

Words of Ministry

The Lord told us to wash one another's feet. We must wash one anothers' feet by ministering the work of the Holy Spirit, by ministering the enlightenment of the Word, and by ministering the operation of the inner life. In this way, I help you, you help me, and we help one another to be washed in the work of the Holy Spirit, in the light of the Word, or in the operation of the inner life. When the Lord washed the disciples' feet, He laid aside His garments. In the Scriptures, a garment signifies what we do and how we act. Whatever we do and however we act becomes our garment. If you have good behavior, you have an excellent garment, something that is beautiful and glorious. However, if you want to minister spiritual foot washing to others, you must lay aside what you have attained, what you have been doing, and how you have been behaving. Whenever you are proud, you can never minister spiritual foot washing to anyone. You must be humble and lay aside your garments. To lay aside your garments means to humble yourself, to empty yourself, to take something off of you and to strip something from you. Each of us must learn how to love the brothers and sisters by ministering the spiritual foot washing to them. Sometimes when I come to visit you, you can minister some sort of foot washing to me by showing your love toward me, and I have to show the same love toward you so that some foot washing will be ministered to you to cleanse you from the earthly touch. We must do this, otherwise, the fellowship between us could not be maintained.
