양의 우리는 더 이상 필요치 않음

성경말씀

(요10:1) "내가 진실로 진실로 여러분에게 말합니다. 문을 통하여 양 우리에 들어가지 않고, 다른 곳으로 넘어 들어가는 이는 도둑이요 강도입니다.
(갈3:23~25) 믿음이 오기 전에 우리는 율법 아래 보호를 받으면서, 믿음이 계시될 때까지 갇혀 있었습니다. 그러므로 율법은 우리가 믿음으로 의롭게 되도록, 그리스도께서 오실 때까지 어린이 인솔자가 되었습니다. 그러나 믿음이 온 후로는 우리가 더 이상 어린이 인솔자 아래 있지 않습니다.

오늘의 만나

그리스도 안에 있는 믿음이 오기 전에 우리는 율법 아래 매인 바 되었습니다. 다시 말하면 우리는 양처럼 우리 안에 갇혀 있었습니다. "매이다(kept)"라고 번역된 헬라어 단어는 "갇히다"라는 뜻입니다. 믿음이 오기 전에 -즉, 그리스도가 오기 전에- 하나님의 택하신 백성들은 율법 아래 갇혀 있었습니다. 그들은 율법 아래 "감금"되어 있었습니다. 헬라어로 "감금하다"는 특별한 단어로서 후견 안에 또는 감독자의 특별한 배려 아래 매인 바 됨을 뜻합니다. 고대에 부자인 유대인 가정의 자녀들은 훈련된 종에 의해 그들의 학교 선생님께 인도되었습니다. 이와 같이 율법은 우리를 그리스도께 데려가기 위해 종으로 봉사했습니다. 우리가 그리스도, 즉 학교 선생님께 인도되기 전에 우리는 종, 즉 율법의 후견 아래 있었습니다. 아버지 하나님은 우리를 보호하여 그리스도께 데려가기 위해 율법을 종으로 사용하셨습니다. 그리스도께서 오시기 전에 우리는 우리의 후견인이 되는 율법의 손 아래 놓여졌습니다. 이제 우리는 양의 우리가 무엇인지 이해합니다. 그리스도께서 오시기 전에 하나님께서는 그분의 택하신 백성을 율법의 후견 아래 두셨습니다. 율법은 양의 우리입니다. 예를 들어, 만일 여러분이 목장을 방문하면 양들이 대부분의 시간에 양 우리 안에 있지 않음을 발견할 것입니다. 양들은 일년의 대부분을 풀밭에 머무릅니다. 풀밭은 양들이 머무는 영원한 장소이지만 양의 우리는 단지 일시적인 장소입니다. 이것은 그리스도가 주님의 자녀들이 머물기 위한 영원한 장소인 풀밭임을 예시합니다. 그러나 그리스도께서 오시기 전에 하나님께서는 그분의 택하신 백성들을 일시적으로 매어 가두어 두기 위해서 양의 우리인 율법을 준비하셨습니다. The Sheepfold is No Longer Needed

John 10:1 Truly, truly, I say to you, He who does not enter through the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up from somewhere else, he is a thief and a robber; Galatians 3:23~25 But before faith came we were guarded under law, being shut up unto the faith which was to be revealed. So then the law has become our child-conductor unto Christ that we might be justified out of faith. But since faith has come, we are no longer under a child-conductor.

Words of Ministry

Before faith in Christ came, we were kept under the law. In other words, we were kept like sheep in a fold. The Greek word translated “kept” means confined. Before faith came-that is, before Christ came-the chosen people of God were confined under the law. They were “shut up” under the law. “Shut up” is a special word in Greek, meaning to be kept in custody or under special care in a ward. In ancient times, the children of the rich, Jewish families were escorted to their schoolmaster by a trained slave. Likewise, the law served as a slave to bring us to Christ. Before we were brought to Christ, the schoolmaster, we were under the care of a slave, the law. God the Father used the law as a slave to take care of us and to bring us to Christ. Before Christ came, we were put under the hand of the law which was to be our custodian. Now we understand what is the sheepfold. Before Christ came, God put His chosen people under the custody of the law. The law was the fold. For example, if you visit the ranch country, you will discover that the sheep do not stay in the fold most of the time. Most of the year the sheep stay in the pasture. The pasture is the permanent place for them to stay, but the sheepfold is merely a temporary place... This illustrates that Christ is the pasture, the permanent place for the Lord's children to stay. But before Christ came, God prepared the law as the sheepfold to keep and confine His chosen people temporarily.
