하나님에 의해 사용되는 자격

성경말씀

(눅1:46~47) 그러자 마리아가 말하였다. "내 혼이 주님을 찬양하며, 내 영이 하나님 나의 구주에 대하여 기뻐한 것은 (1:50~53) 그분의 긍휼이 그분을 경외하는 사람들에게 대대로 있을 것입니다. 그분께서 팔로 권능을 행사하시어, 마음의 생각이 교만한 자들을 흩으셨습니다. 그분은 권력자들을 보좌에서 끌어내리셨고, 겸손한 사람들을 높이셨으며, 굶주린 사람들을 좋은 것으로 배부르게 하셨고, 부자들을 빈손으로 돌려보내셨습니다.

오늘의 만나

마리아의 시적 찬송(눅1:46~55)은 많은 구약의 인용으로 이루어져 있습니다. 이것은 그녀가 구주의 성육신을 위한 통로가 되기에 합당한 자격을 갖춘 경건한 여인이었음을 암시합니다. 그것은 또한 주 예수께서 하나님의 거룩한 말씀에 대한 인식과 사랑으로 충만한 가족 가운데서 양육되었으리라는 것을 암시합니다. 비록 마리아는 젊은 여인이었지만 구약에 관해 매우 지식이 있었고 그 구절들을 인용하여 하나님께 찬양할 수 있었습니다. 사실상 그녀의 찬송은 성경에서의 인용들로 이루어진 것이었습니다. 확실히 그녀는 나실 구주를 잉태함에 있어서 하나님께서 사용하시기에 합당한 사람이었습니다. 마리아의 찬양은 우리가 하나님께 사용되기 위해서 어떤 자격들을 갖추어야 함을 제시합니다. 한가지 자격은 하나님의 말씀에 대한 합당한 인식입니다. 나는 특별히 젊은 사람들이 이 문제에 있어서 마리아에게 배우기를 바랍니다. 여러분은 주님에 관한 어떤 것을 산출하기 위해, 곧 영적인 의미에서 주 예수님을 "잉태"하여 그분을 낳기 위해 주님께 쓰임받고자 합니까? 그렇다면 여러분은 성령으로 충만되고 하나님의 말씀으로 충만되는 자격을 갖추어야 합니다. 기 도 : 주 예수님! 다른 이들에게 당신의 생명의 어떠함을 가져다 주는 통로로 나를 사용하소서. 주님, 이것을 위하여 당신의 말씀을 더 사랑하며, 성경의 합당한 지식으로 조성되기 원합니다. 당신의 말씀으로 나를 채우소서. A Qualification for Being Used by God

Luke1:46~47 And Mary said, My soul magnifies the Lord, And my spirit has exulted in God my Savior; (50~53) And His mercy is unto generations and generations, unto those who fear Him. He has exercised might with His arm; He has scattered those who are proud in the understanding of their heart. He has brought down potentates from thrones and has exalted the humble; The hungry He has filled with good things, and the rich He has sent away empty.

Words of Ministry

Mary's poetic praise [from vs. 46-55] is composed of many quotations from the Old Testament. This indicates that she was a godly woman, qualified to be a channel for the Savior's incarnation. It also indicates that the Lord Jesus would grow up in a family which would be filled with the knowledge and love of God's holy Word. Although Mary was a young woman, she was very knowledgeable concerning the Old Testament and could quote verses from it in her praise to God. Actually, her praise was a composition of quotations from the Scriptures. Surely she was the right person for God to use in conceiving the Savior who was to be born. Mary's praise indicates that in order for us to be used by God, we need to have certain qualifications. One qualification is the proper knowledge of the Word of God. I hope that the young people in particular will learn of Mary in this matter. Do you intend to be used by the Lord to bring forth something of the Lord, even, in a spiritual sense, to "conceive" the Lord Jesus and bring Him forth? If so, then you need to be qualified by being filled with the Scriptures, filled with the Word of God.
