진리 이만나

최신의 주님의 움직이심과 함께 함

성경말씀

(행18:25~26) 그는 일찍이 주님의 길을 배웠고, 영 안에서 불타올라 예수님에 관한 것을 정확하게 말하고 가르쳤으나, 요한의 침례만 알고 있었다. 그가 회당에서 담대히 말하기 시작하자, 브리스길라와 아굴라가 그의 말을 듣고 그를 데려와서 하나님의 길을 더 정확하게 설명해 주었다.

오늘의 만나

우리는 사도행전 18장의 기록에서 아볼로가 아주 좋았음을 볼 수 있습니다. 그러나 아볼로는 주님의 길을 알고 있었음에도 불구하고, 하나님의 경륜을 충분히 알지 못했습니다. 이러한 지식의 부족은 그가 단지 침례자 요한만을 알았다는 사실에 의해 지적됩니다. 주님의 움직이심에 대한 그의 지식에 있어서 그는 침례자 요한의 사역보다 더 전진할 수 없었습니다. 사도행전 18장에 있는 아볼로의 경우에서 우리가 배울 수 있는 교훈이 있습니다. 우리는 우리가 주님의 길 안에 있다고 생각할지 모르나, 사실상 주님의 최신의 움직이심에 따라가지 못했을지도 모릅니다. 우리는 자신을 낮추고 영 안에서 비워져야 할 필요가 있습니다. 주 예수님은 "영 안에서 가난한 사람들은 복이 있습니다. 왜냐하면 천국이 그들의 것이기 때문입니다.(마5:3)"라고 말씀하셨습니다. 영 안에서 가난한 것은 겸손할 뿐 아니라, 우리의 영을 비우는 것이며 우리 존재의 깊은 속을 비우는 것입니다. 많은 유대인 지도자들은 구약에 있는 하나님의 움직이심을 알았지만, 하나님께서 그분의 신약경륜을 위한 새로운 출발을 하기 원하신다는 것을 보지 못했습니다. 이 종교적인 지도자들은 그들의 영 안에서 가득 차 있었습니다. 그러므로 주 예수님은 우리 모두가 영 안에서 가난해질 필요가 있음을 지적하셨습니다. 주님의 움직이심은 항상 전진하기 때문에 우리는 현재 있는 곳에서 만족해서는 안됩니다. 그 대신 우리는 자신을 겸손하게 해야 하며, 또한 우리의 영이 주님의 움직이심에 관한 새로운 것을 받을 수 있도록 우리 영을 채운 것들을 내려 놓아야 합니다. Words of Ministry

We can see from the record in Acts 18 that Apollos was very good. However, although Apollos knew the Lord's way, he did not know God's economy in full. This lack of knowledge is indicated by the fact that he knew only the baptism of John... In his knowledge of the Lord's move he had not gone further than the ministry of John the Baptist. There is a lesson for us to learn from the case of Apollos in Acts 18. We may think that we are in the way of the Lord, but we may not actually be up-to-date with the Lord's move. We all need to humble ourselves and empty our spirit. The Lord Jesus said, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of the heavens" (Matt. 5:3). To be poor in spirit is not only to be humble but also to be emptied in our spirit, emptied in the depths of our being. Many of the Jewish leaders knew of God's move in the Old Testament, but they did not see that God intended to have a new start for His New Testament economy. These religious leaders were full in their spirit. Therefore, the Lord Jesus pointed out that we all need to be poor in our spirit. Because the Lord is always advancing in His move, we should not be content with where we are. Instead, we should humble ourselves and be unloaded of anything that is filling our spirit so that our spirit may be able to receive something new concerning the Lord's move.
