그리스도를 중심삼음

성경말씀

(행13:26) 형제 여러분, 아브라함 족속의 자손이여, 그리고 여러분 가운데서 하나님을 경외하고 있는 분들이여, 이 구원의 말씀을 우리에게 보내셨습니다. 
(29~30)그들은 그분에 관하여 성경에 기록된 모든 것을 수행하고 나서, 그분을 나무에서 내려다가 무덤에 두었으나 하나님께서 그분을 죽은 사람들 가운데서 살리셨습니다.

오늘의 만나

구약은 역사, 율법, 예표, 예언 등 많은 것들을 포함하고 있습니다. 유대인들은 구약을 매주마다 연구했으나, 그리스도에 주의를 기울이지 않았습니다. 그들은 메시아에 대해 어떤 사상이 있긴 했지만, 그리스도에 대한 어떤 이해도 없었습니다. 바울은 회당 안으로 들어가 전파하고 가르칠 때, 그리스도 외에 다른 어떤 것을 주의하지 않았습니다. 어떤 이들은 바울이 그리스도를 전파하고 또 오직 그리스도만을 전파하는 것을 듣고서 다음과 같이 말했을 것입니다. “바울은 구약에 있는 역사를 기술하면서 전파를 시작하지 않았는가? 바울은 하나님께서 그분의 백성을 이집트에서 이끌어내신 것에 대해, 사울에 대해, 다윗에 대해 말하지 않았는가?” 그렇습니다. 바울은 그러한 것들에 대해 말했지만 그리스도를 전파하기 위한 방법을 준비하기 위하여 말했던 것입니다. 사도행전 13장 22절에서 바울은, 다윗이 하나님의 마음에 합한 사람이라는 것에 대한 말씀을 인용했습니다. 그리고 나서 23절에서 바울은 계속해서 말했습니다. “하나님이 약속하신 대로 이 사람의 씨에서 이스라엘을 위하여 구주를 세우셨으니 곧 예수라” 여기서 우리는 볼 수 있습니다. 짧은 소개의 말 후에 바울은 중점적인 메시지를 말했는데, 그것은 전적으로 그리스도를 초점삼은 것이었습니다. 다윗의 때까지 역사를 언급한 후에 다윗의 씨로부터 하나님께서 구주이신 예수 그리스도를 세우셨다고 지적했습니다. 구원은 그리스도께 있는 것입니다. Acts13:26 Men, brothers, sons of the race of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, to us the word of this salvation has been sent forth. (29~30) And when they had accomplished all that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the tree and laid Him in a tomb. But God raised Him from the dead.

Words of Ministry

The Old Testament contains many things: history, the law, types, and prophecies. The Jews studied the Old Testament week by week, but they did not pay attention to Christ. They had some thought concerning the Messiah, but they did not have any understanding of Christ. When Paul went into the synagogues to preach and teach, he did not care for anything other than Christ. When some hear that Paul preached Christ and Christ alone, they may say, "Did Paul not begin his preaching with an account of the history in the Old Testament? Did he not speak of God's bringing His people out of Egypt, and about Saul and David?" Yes, Paul spoke about those things, but he did so in order to prepare the way to preach Christ. In verse 22 Paul quoted the word about David being a man according to God's heart. Then in verse 23 he went on to say, "From this man's seed, God, according to promise, brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus." Here we see that after a short introduction, he came to his crucial message, which is altogether centered on Christ. After beginning with the history until the time of David, Paul went on to point out that from David's seed God brought forth a Savior, Jesus Christ. With Him there is salvation.
