그리스도는 하나님의 좋은 땅임

성경말씀

골2:6 여러분이 그리스도, 곧 주 예수님을 받아들였으니, 그분 안에서 행하십시오. 
골2:7 그분 안에 뿌리를 내리고 건축되어, 여러분이 가르침을 받은대로 믿음이 견고해져서 감사가 넘쳐 나게 하십시오.

오늘의 만나

바울이 골로새서 2장을 쓰고 있었을 때, 그는 모든 것을 포함한 그리스도의 예표인 구약의 좋은 땅에 대한 그림을 고려하고 있었을 것입니다. 1장 12절에 이에 대한 암시가 있는데, 거기서 바울은 그리스도께서 성도들의 분깃이라고 말하고 있습니다. 그런 후에 2장 6절에서 바울은 그리스도 안에서 행하라고 말하고 있습니다. 이것은 그리스도께서 우리가 행할 수 있는 땅, 영토, 영역임을 암시합니다. 게다가 2장 7절에서 뿌리 내린다고 말하는데, 이는 또한 그가 좋은 땅에 대해 생각하고 있었다는 것을 가리킵니다. 그리스도 안에 뿌리내리기 위해서는 그분이 반드시 우리의 땅, 우리의 토양이어야 합니다. 이 모든 것들은 골로새서에 계시된 그리스도께서 우리의 좋은 땅임을 가리키는 것입니다. 바울은 하나님의 선택된 백성은 구약 시대에 좋은 땅을 그들의 분깃으로 누렸다는 것을 알고 있었습니다. 게다가 그는 좋은 땅이 그들에게 모든 것이었음을 깨달았습니다. 선택된 이스라엘 백성들은 좋은 땅을 통해서만이 하나님을 경배하고 하나님의 간증과 그분의 유일한 거처를 위한 성전을 세울 수 있었습니다. 또한 좋은 땅을 통해서만이 하나님의 목적이 이스라엘 자손을 통해 성취될 수 있었습니다. 좋은 땅이 하나님의 선택된 백성에게 어떤 의미인지 완전히 깨닫고서 바울은 골로새인들에게 좋은 땅에 대하여 묘사하면서 골로새서를 썼던 것입니다. 그러므로 만일 우리가 이 책에 계시된 모든 것을 포함하신 그리스도를 체험하고자 한다면 우리는 그러한 그리스도가 가나안 땅으로 예표되어 있다는 것에 대해 깨달을 필요가 있습니다. Christ Being God's Good Land

As Paul was writing this chapter of Colossians, he was considering the picture of the good land in the Old Testament as a type of the all-inclusive Christ. There is a suggestion of this in 1:12, where Paul says that Christ is the portion of the saints. Then in 2:6 Paul tells us to walk in Christ. This implies that Christ is the land, the territory, the realm, in which we may walk. Furthermore, his reference to being rooted in Christ in 2:7 also indicates that he was thinking of the good land. In order to be rooted in Christ, He must be our land, our soil. All these are indications that the Christ revealed in Colossians is our good land. He was aware that God's chosen people in Old Testament times enjoyed the good land as their portion. Furthermore, he realized that the good land was everything to them. It was through the good land that they could worship God and build the temple for God's testimony and for His unique dwelling place. It was through the good land that God's purpose could be fulfilled through the children of Israel. Fully realizing what the good land meant to God's chosen people, Paul composed the Epistle to the Colossians with the portrait of the good land in mind. Therefore, if we would experience the all- inclusive Christ as revealed in this book, we need to realize that such a Christ is typified by the land of Canaan.
