지혜와 지식의 근원이신 그리스도

성경말씀

(골2:2~3)...하나님의 비밀이신 그리스도...그리스도 안에는 지혜와 지식의 모든 보물이 감추어져 있습니다

오늘의 만나

하나님은 지혜와 지식의 유일한 근원이십니다. 지혜와 지식의 모든 보물은 하나님의 비밀이신 바로 그 그리스도 안에 감추어져 있습니다. 골로새에 있는 교회에 이교도의 철학이 들어왔기 때문에 바울은 골로새인들이 하나님 안에 있는 지혜와 지식의 근원을 알아내도록 도왔습니다. 그리스도는 하나님의 비밀이시고 하나님만이 모든 지혜와 지식의 근원이십니다. 이는 마치 바울이 "골로새인들이여, 여러분은 그리스도를 받아들였고 그분 안에 지혜와 지식의 모든 보물이 감추어져 있는데 왜 여러분은 아직도 철학이 필요합니까? 왜 여러분은 영지주의의 가르침을 받아들입니까? 이렇게 하는 것은 여러분이 믿는 것에 대하여 충만한 확신이 없기 때문입니다. 여러분은 믿음은 있으나 확신이 없습니다."라고 말하고자 했던 것 같습니다. 지혜와 지식이 그리스도 안에 체현되어 있다는 사실은 주님의 말씀, 특별히 마태복음과 요한복음에 기록된 말씀들에 의하여 입증될 수 있습니다. 이 책들에서 주님은 왕국과 생명에 관하여 말씀하셨습니다. 이 책들에 기록된 주님의 말씀은 가장 높은 철학을 담고 있습니다. 철학자들의 어떤 가르침이나 공자의 윤리적인 가르침도 그것들과 비교될 수 없습니다. 주님의 말씀 안에 있는 사상은 너무나 깊고 심오합니다. 철학을 철저히 연구해 본 사람이라면 누구나 가장 높은 철학은 예수 그리스도의 가르침에서 발견된다는 것을 시인해야만 할 것입니다. 참으로 지혜와 지식의 모든 보물은 그분 안에 있습니다. Christ as the Source of Wisdom and Knowledge

Col 2:2 ...the mystery of God, Christ, (3) In whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden. 1 Cor 1:24 But to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

Words of Ministry

God is the unique source of wisdom and knowledge. All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in the very Christ who is the mystery of God. Because the church at Colossae had been invaded by pagan philosophy, Paul was helping the Colossians trace wisdom and knowledge to their true source in God. Christ is the mystery of God, who alone is the source of all wisdom and knowledge. It seems as if Paul wanted to say, “Colossians, since you have received the Christ in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden, why do you still need philosophy? Why do you accept the teaching of Gnosticism? You do this because you do not have the full assurance concerning what you believe. You have faith, but you don't have certainty.” The fact that wisdom and knowledge are embodied in Christ is proved by His spoken words, especially those recorded in the Gospels of Matthew and John. In these books, the Lord spoke about the kingdom and about life. The Lord's words recorded in these books contain the highest philosophy. None of the teachings of the philosophers, including the ethical teachings of Confucius, compare to them. The concept in the Lord's words is too deep and profound. Anyone who makes a thorough study of philosophy will have to admit that the highest philosophy is that found in the teachings of Jesus Christ. Truly all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are in Him.
