그리스도는 회개와 용서의 선물을 주심

성경말씀

(행5:31) 이 예수님을 하나님께서 하나님의 오른편에 높이 올리시어 영도자와 구주가 되게 하셨는데, 이것은 이스라엘이 회개하고 죄들이 용서받도록 하기 위한 것입니다.
(11:18) 그들이 이 말을 듣자 잠잠해졌고, 하나님께 영광을 돌리며 '그렇다면 하나님께서 이방인들도 회개하여 생명에 이르도록 해 주신 것입니다.'라고 말하였다.

오늘의 만나

하나님의 택한 백성에게 회개와 죄들의 용서를 주시기 위해서는 그리스도께서 다스리는 영도자와 구주로 높여지시는 것이 필요합니다. 그리스도의 주권적인 다스림을 통해 하나님의 택한 백성은 회개하도록 이끌리게 되며, 그분의 구속에 근거한 그분의 구원은 그들에게 죄들의 용서를 갖게 합니다. 회개와 용서는 주된 선물이며, 영도자와 구주이신 주 예수님만이 회개와 용서를 주실 자격이 있습니다. 주 예수님 외에 그 누구도 회개와 죄들의 용서를 다른 이들에게 줄 자격이 없습니다. 우리는 깨달을 필요가 있는데, 이 우주 안에 주님만이 회개와 죄들의 용서를 줄 자격이 있는 유일한 분이시라는 것입니다. 긍정적인 의미에서 우리는 주 예수님께 붙잡혔습니다. 만일 우리가 붙잡히지 않았다면 우리 중 누가 회개했겠습니까? 주님이 우리를 사로잡지 않았다면 우리 중 누구도 회개하지 않았을 것입니다. 회개는 우리에게 속한 것이 아닙니다. 왜냐하면 회개는 영도자와 구주로 높여지신 분이 주시는 선물이기 때문입니다. 회개에 이어 우리는 용서의 선물을 받았습니다. 회개와 죄용서의 선물을 인해 주님을 찬양합니다! 그분이 하나님의 택한 백성에게 회개와 죄용서를 주실 자격이 있으신 분임을 인해 주님을 찬양합니다! Christ Giving the Gifts of Repentance and Forgiveness

Acts5:31 This One God has exalted to His right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. 11:18 And when they heard these things, they became silent and glorified God, saying, Then to the Gentiles also God has given repentance unto life.

Words of Ministry

To give repentance and forgiveness of sins to God's chosen people requires Christ to be exalted as a ruling Leader and Savior. His sovereign ruling causes and leads God's chosen people to repent, and His salvation based upon His redemption affords them forgiveness of sins. Repentance and forgiveness are major gifts, and only the Lord Jesus as the Leader and the Savior is qualified to give them. No one else is qualified to give repentance and forgiveness of sins to others. We need to realize that in this universe He is the only One qualified to give repentance and forgiveness of sins. In a positive sense, we have been caught by the Lord Jesus. If we had not been caught, who among us would have repented? None of us would have repented if the Lord had not captured us. Repentance is not of us; repentance is a gift given by the exalted Leader and Savior. Following repentance, we received the gift of forgiveness. Praise the Lord for the gifts of repentance and forgiveness! Praise Him that He is qualified to give repentance and forgiveness to God's chosen people!
