그리스도께서 지금 승천 안에 계시다는 사실은 그분이 하늘들에 계실 뿐만 아니라, 그분이 능력과 권위를 가지고 있다는 것을 의미합니다. 그리스도는 승천 안에서 우주 안의 모든 능력과 모든 권위를 갖고 계십니다. 마태복음 28장 18절에 따르면 부활하신 그리스도께서 제자들에게 말씀하셨습니다. "하늘과 땅의 모든 권위가 나에게 주어졌습니다."  그러므로 주님은 승천 안에서 그러한 능력과 권위를 가지고 매우 활동적이십니다. 주님은 지금 무엇을 하고 계십니까? 승천하신 분으로서, 우주적이고 영원한 확산을 수행하고 계십니다. 오늘날 지구상에 그리스도인들로 가득하다는 것을 누가 설명할 수 있겠습니까? 왜 이 세상에 그렇게 많은 믿는이들이 있을까요? 소위 위대한 사람들은 땅에 대한 지배권을 얻으려고 분투했지만, 그들은 실패했습니다. 한 예로 히틀러가 그렇게 시도했지만 결국 그는 모든 것을 잃었습니다. 역사에 따르면 나폴레옹은 패배한 이후 하늘을 올려다보며, 예수께서 그를 패배시켰음을 고백했다고 합니다. 비록 주 예수님은 싸우지 않으셨지만, 그분은 모든 것을 얻었다는 것을 나폴레옹은 인정했습니다. 여기서 중점은 온지구는 결코 실패할 수 없는 분의 손 안에 있다는 것입니다. 이 분이 그분 자신의 확산을 수행하고 계십니다. 승천하신 그리스도께서 그분의 확산을 수행하고 계실 때, 그분의 주된 일은 싸우는 것이 아닙니다. 싸우는 대신 승천하신 주님의 일은 주로 그분 자신을 온 지구 상에 확산하시는 것입니다. 우리 모두는 그리스도의 확산의 일부입니다. 우리는 승천 안에 계신 부활하신 그리스도에 의해 산출되었습니다.

  The fact that Christ is now in ascension means not only that He is in the heavens; it also means that He has power and authority. In His ascension Christ has all the power and all the authority in the universe. According to Matthew 28:18, the resurrected Christ said to His disciples, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” Therefore, with such authority and power in His ascension the Lord is very active. What is He doing? The Lord, as the ascended One, is carrying out His universal and eternal propagation. Who can explain why the earth today is filled with Christians? Why are there so many believers in the world? Great men have tried to gain control of the earth, but they have failed. Hitler, for example, tried to do this, but eventually he lost everything. Napoleon, after he had been defeated, reportedly looked up to the heavens and confessed that Jesus had beaten him. Napoleon admitted that even though the Lord Jesus did not fight, He gained everything. The point here is that the whole earth is in the hands of the undefeatable One, and this One is carrying out His propagation. As the ascended Christ is carrying out His propagation, His main work is not fighting. Instead of fighting, the ascended Lord's work is mainly propagating Himself throughout the earth. We all are part of Christ's propagation. We have been produced by the resurrected Christ in His ascension.
