15 접붙임의 결과로 돌감람나무의 가지는 참감람나무와 함께 유기적으로 성장합니다. 각 나무마다 그 자신의 생명을 가지고 있지만, 지금 이 생명들은 유기적으로 함께 자라며 한 가지의 열매를 맺습니다. 15

15 한 종류의 생명이 다른 종류의 생명에 접붙여지려면 그 두 생명은 반드시 유사해야 합니다. 예를 들어, 바나나 나무의 가지를 복숭아 나무에 접붙이는 것을 불가능합니다. 그러나 열등한 복숭아 나무의 가지를 건강하고 소출이 많은 복숭아 나무에 접붙이는 것은 가능합니다. 왜냐하면 그 두 나무의 생명들은 서로 유사하기 때문입니다. 우리는 이 원리를 신성한 생명이 사람 안으로 분배되는 것에 적용할 수 있습니다. 신성한 생명은 개의 생명에 접붙일 수 없는데, 그 이유는 두 생명 사이에는 조금도 유사점이 없기 때문입니다. 그러나 우리 사람의 생명은 하나님의 형상과 모양대로 지어졌기 때문에 그것은 신성한 생명에 연결될 수 있습니다.우리 사람의 생명이 신성한 생명이 아닐지라도, 신성한 생명을 닮았습니다. 그러므로 이 생명들은 쉽게 서로 접붙여져서 유기적으로 함께 자랄 수 있습니다.15

15 더 나아가 하나님이 정하신 자연의 법칙에 따르면, 가난한 생명이 풍성한 생명에 영향을 끼치는 것이 아니라 풍성한 생명이 가난한 생명에게 영향을 끼치게 됩니다. 사실 풍성한 생명은 가난한 생명의 모든 결점을 삼켜 버리고 가난한 생명을 변화시키게 될 것입니다. 같은 원칙으로 우리가 그리스도에게 접붙여졌을 때, 그리스도는 우리의 결점들을 삼켜 버리지만 우리 자신의 생명을 없애는 것은 아닙니다. 반대로 그분이 우리의 결점을 삼키실 때, 그분은 우리의 인성을 높이십니다. 그분은 우리의 생각, 의지, 감정과 모든 우리의 미덕들을 높이십니다. 15

15 Are You Grafted?15

15 Rom 11:17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and 15 you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them and 15 became a fellow partaker of the root of fatness of the olive 15 tree.
15 John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches....15

15 As a result of grafting, the branches from the wild olive 15 tree and the cultivated olive tree grow together organically. 15 Each tree has its own life, but now these lives grow 15 organically together and have one issue.15

15 In order for one kind of life to be grafted to another, the 15 two lives must be very similar. For example, it is not 15 possible to graft a branch from a banana tree to a peach 15 tree. However, it is possible to graft some branches from a 15 poorer peach tree to a healthy, productive peach tree, for 15 the lives of these two trees are very close to each other. We 15 may apply this principle to the dispensation of the divine 15 life into man. The divine life cannot be grafted with the 15 life of a dog because there is no resemblance whatever 15 between these lives. But because our human life was made in 15 the image of God and according to the likeness of God, it can 15 be joined to the divine life. Although our human life is not 15 the divine life, it resembles the divine life. Therefore, 15 these lives can easily be grafted together and then grow 15 together organically.15

15 Furthermore, according to the natural law ordained by God, it 15 is not the poor life that affects the richer life, but the 15 richer life that affects the poor life. In fact, the rich 15 life will swallow up all the defects of the poor life and 15 thus transform the poor life. In the same principle, when we 15 are grafted into Christ, Christ swallows up our defects, but 15 He does not eliminate our own life. On the contrary, as He 15 swallows our defects, He uplifts our humanity. He uplifts our 15 mind, will, emotion, and all our virtues.15 15
