15 -로마서 8장 23,26절- 그뿐 아니라 또한 우리 곧 성령의 처음 익은 열매를 받은 우리까지도 속으로 탄식하여 양자 될 것 곧 우리 몸의 속량을 기다리느니라 ... 이와 같이 성령도 우리의 연약함을 도우시나니 우리는 마땅히 기도할 바를 알지 못하나 오직 성령이 말할 수 없는 탄식으로 우리를 위하여 친히 간구하시느니라 15

15 "이와 같이"라는 구절이 어떤 의미입니까? 이 구절을 이해하기는 어렵습니다. 만유를 포함한 의미가 있다고 나는 믿습니다. "이와 같이"는 앞으로 오는 구절들의 요점-고대, 열망, 탄식, 참음, 소망 등을 포함합니다. "이와 같이"라는 구절은 이 모든 요점들과 관련 있습니다. 우리가 탄식하는 동안에, 성령도 역시 탄식하십니다. 우리가 고대하는 동안에, 그 분도 고대하십니다. 우리가 소망하고 참는 동안에, 그분도 소망하고 참으십니다. 우리가 무엇을 하든지 그분도 역시 하십니다. "이와 같이" 그 영은 우리를 돕기 위해 연합하십니다. 어떠한 위안인지요!15

15 그분은 우리의 어떠하심과 같습니다. 우리가 약하면, 실제적으로는 그렇지 않다 하더라도 그분 역시 외관상으로 약하십니다. 그분은 우리의 연약함을 체휼하십니다. 그분은 우리의 약함을 위하여 그 안에 참여하시기 위해 약하신 것처럼 보이십니다. 우리가 "아버지여!"하고 크게 기도할 때 그분도 역시 크게 기도하십니다. 우리가 부드럽게 기도할 때, 그분도 부드럽게 기도하십니다. 우리는 "아버지여, 나는 너무 가련합니다. 내게 긍휼을 베푸소서"라고 기도할지 모릅니다. 우리가 이런 식으로 기도할 때, 그분도 우리를 위하여 "이와 같이" 기도하십니다. 우리가 어떤 식으로 기도하든지, 그분도 기도하십니다. 우리가 어떠하든지, 그분도 그러하십니다. 우리가 빠르게, 기쁘게, 짧게 기도한다면, 그 분도 이와 같이 기도하십니다. 우리의 방법이 그분의 방법입니다. 15

15 The Spirit, in Like Manner, Joining In15

15 Rom 8:23 And not only so, but we ourselves also, who have the 15 firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan in 15 ourselves, eagerly awaiting sonship, the redemption of our 15 body. (26) Moreover, in like manner the Spirit also joins in 15 to help us in our weakness, for we do not know for what we 15 should pray as is fitting, but the Spirit Himself intercedes 15 for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 15

15 What does the phrase "in like manner" mean? It is difficult 15 to understand this phrase. I believe that it has an all-15 inclusive meaning. "In like manner" includes all the points 15 of the foregoing verses - expecting, eagerness, groaning, 15 endurance, hope, and so forth. The phrase "in like manner"15 relates to all of these points. While we are groaning, the 15 Holy Spirit also is groaning. While we are expecting, He is 15 expecting. While we are hoping and enduring, He is hoping and 15 enduring. Whatever we are, He is also the same. "In like 15 manner" the Spirit joins in to help us. What a comfort this 15 is! 15

15 He is just the same as we are. If we are weak, He apparently 15 is weak also, although actually He is not. He sympathizes 15 with our weakness. He appears to be weak for the sake of our 15 weakness that He might participate in it. When we loudly 15 pray, "Father", He also prays loudly. He also prays softly 15 when we pray softly. We may say, "Father, I'm so pitiful. 15 Have mercy upon me." When we pray in this way, He also prays 15 for us "in like manner". In whatever way we pray, He also 15 prays. In whatever way we are, He also is. If we pray 15 quickly, rejoicingly, and shoutingly, He also prays in this 15 manner. Our manner is His manner. 15 15
