15 -로마서 5장 10절- 곧 우리가 원수 되었을 때에 그 아들의 죽으심으로 말미암아 하나님으로 더불어 화목되었은즉 화목된 자로서는 더욱 그의 살으심을 인하여 구원을 얻을 것이니라 15

15 로마서 5장 10절에 앞서서 이미 우리는 구속받고 의롭다 하심을 받고 하나님과 화목했기 때문에 구원받았다는 것을 말하고 있습니다. 그런데 왜 이 구절은 갑자기 구원을 얻을 것이라고 말하고 있습니까? 구속과 의롭다 함과 화목은 모두 피를 흘리신 그리스도의 죽음을 요구합니다. 그러나 거룩과 변화와 형상을 본받음을 그의 생명의 내적인 역사를 요구합니다. 십자가에서 이룬 그리스도의 죽음은 우리를 객관적으로 구원했고, 그분의 생명은 우리를 주관적으로 구원하십니다. 우리는 더욱 더 구원받을 필요가 있습니다. 우리는 지옥과 하나님의 정죄로부터 구원받았지만 이것은 위치상의(객관적인) 구원입니다. 이제 우리는 우리의 옛사람, 우리의 자아, 우리의 타고난 생명 등과 같은 우리의 성분으로부터 구원받아야 합니다. 이것이 성분상의(주관적인) 구원입니다. 15

15 "더욱 그의 생명 안에서 구원을 얻을 것이니라(로마서 5장 10절 말씀-원문참조)" 우리는 매일매일 많은 소극적인 것들로부터 구원받아야 합니다. 우리는 우리의 성질과 자아로부터 구원받아야 합니다. 우리가 고통 가운데 하나님을 누릴 때 우리에게는 그분의 생명 안에 있는 구원이 필요합니다. 우리는 끈질기게 따라 다니는 죄로부터 그분의 생명 안에서 구원받아야 합니다. 즉 죄와 사망의 법에서 해방되어야 하는 것입니다. 우리는 거룩해지기 위해 우리의 천성으로부터 그분의 생명 안에 구원받아야 합니다. 우리는 하나님의 맏아들인 그리스도의 형상을 본받기 위해 내가 좋아하는 것으로부터 그분의 생명 안에 구원받아야 합니다. 우리는 몸안의 다른 지체들과 건축되기 위해 개인주의로부터 그분의 생명 안에 구원받아야 합니다. 이것이 그리스도의 생명 안에서의 구원이며, 로마서의 다음 장들에서 완전하게 정의될 것입니다. 15

15 Being Saved in His Life15

15 Rom 5:10 For if we, being enemies, were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more we will be saved in His life, having been reconciled. 15

15 Prior to Romans 5:10 we were told that we have already been saved, because we have been redeemed, justified, and reconciled. Why does this verse suddenly say that we shall be saved? Redemption, justification, and reconciliation all require the death of Christ in which His blood was shed, 15 while sanctification, transformation, and conformation require the inward working of His life. Christ's death on the cross saved us in an objective way, and His life will save us in a subjective way. We need to be saved more and more. We have been saved from hell and from God's condemnation: this 15 is positional [or objective] salvation. Now we need to be saved from our disposition, such as our old man, our self, our natural life, etc.: this is dispositional [or subjective] salvation. 15

15 "Much more, we shall be saved in His life". Daily we need to be saved from so many negative things. We need to be saved from our temper and our self. We need to be saved in His life from the besetting sin, that is, to be freed from the law of sin and death. We need to be saved in His life from being 15 worldly, that is, to be sanctified. We need to be saved in His life from our natural being, that is, to be transformed from our natural life. We need to be saved in His life from being self-like, that is, to be conformed to the image of Christ, the firstborn Son of God. And we need to be saved in His life from being individualistic, that is, to be built up with others into one Body. These are the savings in the life of Christ, which will be fully defined in the following 15 chapters [in Romans].
