15 -요한복음 14장 20절- 그 날에는 내가 아버지 안에, 너희가 내 안에, 내가 너희 안에 있는 것을 너희가 알리라 15

15 교회가 하나님께 속하거나 그리스도께 속한 것이라고 말하는 것은 오히려 간단한 문제입니 다. 그러나 교회가 하나님 아버지 안에와 주 예수 그리스도 안에 있다고 선포하는 것은 한 층 더 깊고 심오합니다. 예를 들어, 우리가 특정한 사람에게 속했다고 말하는 것은 간단한 일입니다. 그러나 그 사람 안에 있다고 선포하는 것은 전혀 다른 문제입니다. 인간적으로 말 해서 누군가에게 속하는 것은 가능하지만, 문자 그대로 그 사람 안에 있는 것은 불가능합니 다. 오직 유기적이고도 생명에 속한 방법 안에서만이 교회가 삼일 하나님 안에 있을 수 있 습니다. 우리는 생명의 길을 적절하게 이해하지 못하지만 하나님은 그것을 완전히 이해하십 니다. 더욱이 하나님만이 생명의 방법으로 무언가를 하실 수 있습니다. 유기적이고도 생명에 속한 방법 안에서 하나님은 교회가 삼일 하나님 안에 있는 것을 가능하게 하셨습니다. 15

15 교회가 단지 하나님께 속한 것이라면 하나님이 우리의 창조자라고 하는 것만으로도 충분합 니다. 그러나 교회가 하나님 안에 있기 위해서 하나님은 우리의 아버지가 되셔야 하며 우리 는 그분과 생명의 관계를 맺어야 합니다. 이와 마찬가지로 교회가 주 예수 그리스도 안에 있기 위해서는 그리스도가 우리에게 주와 예수가 되셔야 합니다. 믿는 이들은 특히 오늘날 그들이 종파적인 칭호로 사용하는 방식으로 하나님의 교회, 그리스도의 교회, 하나님의 성회 등과 같은 표현에 익숙할지도 모릅니다. 그러나 많은 이들이 교회가 삼일 하나님 안에 있다 는 것을 깨닫지 못합니다. 15

15 A Great Matter: Being IN God the Father (1)15

15 1 Thessalonians 1:1 ...the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace.
15 John 14:20 In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.15

15 It is a rather simple matter to say that the church is of God or of Christ. But it is deeper and more profound to declare that the church is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ. For example, it is one thing to say that we are of a particular person. However, it is altogether another matter to claim to be in that person. Humanly speaking, it is possible to be of someone, but it is not possible to be literally in that one. Only in a way that is organic and of life can the church be in the Triune God. We do not adequately understand the way of life, but God does understand it in full. Furthermore, only God can do something in the way of life. In a way that is organic and of life, God has made it possible for the church to be in the Triune God.15

15 For the church to be merely of God, it is sufficient that God be merely our Creator. But for the church to be in God, God must become our Father, and we need to have a life relationship with Him. Likewise, for the church to be in the Lord Jesus Christ, Christ must be the Lord and Jesus to us. Believers may be familiar with expressions such as the church of God, the church of Christ, and the assembly of God, especially in the way they are employed today as denominational titles. But not many have realized that the church is in the Triune God.15
