15 -골로새서 3장 3-4절- 이는 너희가 죽었고 너희 생명이 그리스도와 함께 하나님 안에 감취었음이니라 우리 생명이신 그리스도께서 나타나실 그 때에 너희도 그와 함께 영광 중에 나타나리라 15

15 나는 골로새서 3장 3절에 있는 “감취어진”이라는 낱말을 좋아합니다. 오늘날 우리의 생명은 그리스도와 함께 하나님 안에 감취어져 있습니다. 그러나 어느 날 그리스도가 나타나실 것이고 우리는 그분과 함께 영광 중에 나타날 것입니다. 장래에는 그리스도와 함께 나타날 것이지만, 지금은 우리가 감취어져 있는 때입니다. 지금은 그리스도조차도 감취어져 계십니다. 그분이 얼마나 많은 비평과 반대와 공격을 받고 있는가를 생각해 보십시오. 사람들은 마치 그분이 존재하지 않는 것처럼 그분을 거스르고 있습니다. 그리스도는 이러한 반대와 배역으로 고통을 당하고 있지만 계속 침묵하시고 감취어져 계십니다. 15

15 우리는 다른 사람들에 의해 알려지지 않은 많은 것들을 해야 합니다. 우리의 그리스도인 생활은 감취어진 생활, 곧 그리스도와 함께 하나님 안에 감취어진 생활이어야 합니다. 우리의 교회 생활도 하나님 안에, 하늘에 감취어져 있어야 합니다. 그리스도가 나타날 때, 우리는 그분과 함께 나타날 것입니다. 그 때가 바로 우리가 그리스도와 함께 나타날 때일 것입니다. 15

15 로마서 8장에 따르면 우리는 어느 날 그리스도와 함께 영화롭게 될 것입니다. 로마서 8장 19절에 “피조물의 고대하는 바는 하나님의 아들들이 나타나는 것이니”라고 합니다. 그 때의 피조물은 “썩어짐의 종노릇 한데서 해방되어 하나님의 자녀들의 영광의 자유에 이를 것(로마서 8장 21절)”이라고 말하고 있습니다. 우리가 그리스도와 함께 영광 중에 나타나는 그 대는 얼마나 놀라운 날인지요! 그 때는 우리의 천한 몸조차도 영광스러운 몸으로 변형될 것입니다. 그러나 우리는 그 놀라운 날을 기다리면서 그리스도와 함께 하나님 안에, 하늘에, 교회 안에 감취어진 채로 남아 있어야 합니다. 15

15 Hidden with Christ and Manifested with Him15

15 Colossians 3:3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. (4) When Christ our life is manifested, then you also will be manifested with Him in glory.15

15 I appreciate the word hidden in 3:3. Today our life is hidden with Christ in God. But one day Christ will appear, and we shall be manifested with Him in glory. Although we shall be manifested with Christ in the future, now is the time for us to be hidden. At present, even Christ is hidden. Think of how much He is criticized, opposed, and attacked. People rebel against Him to such an extent that it almost seems as if He does not exist. Although Christ is suffering from this attack and rebellion, He continues to be silent and hidden.15

15 We should do many things that are not known by others. Our Christian life should be a hidden life, a life hidden with Christ in God. Our church life should also be hidden in God and in the heavens. When Christ appears, we shall appear with Him. That will be the time of our manifestation with Christ. 15

15 According to Romans 8, we shall one day be glorified with Christ. In Romans 8:19 we are told that the “creation eagerly expects the revelation of the sons of God,” at which time it will “be freed from the slavery of corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God” (v. 21). What a wonderful day it will be when we appear with our Christ in glory! At that time, even our vile body will be transfigured into a glorious body. But as we await that wonderful day, we must remain hidden with Christ in God, in the heavens, and in the church.15
