15 -골로새서 1장 26-27절- 이 비밀은 만세와 만대로부터 옴으로 감취었던 것인데 이제는 그 의 성도들에게 나타났고 하나님이 그들로 하여금 이 비밀의 영광이 이방인 가운데 어떻게 풍성한 것을 알게 하려 하심이라 이 비밀은 너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이 니라 15

15 그리스도와 교회에 관한 비밀은 영원부터, 모든 시대를 통해 신약 시대까지 감취어져 있다 가 신약 시대에 그분의 성도들, 즉 그리스도 안의 믿는 이들에게 나타났습니다. 15

15 바울이 26절에서 그 비밀이 사도들에게 나타났다고 말하지 않고 그분의 성도들에게 나타났 다고 말하는 것은 중요합니다. 종교적 전통의 영향으로 인해 많은 사람들이 하나님의 경륜 과 같은 것들은 소위 평신도들이 이해할 수 없는 것이라고 믿고 있습니다. 이 비밀이 성도 들, 곧 그리스도를 믿는 모든 자들에게 나타난 것은 주님께 얼마나 감사한 일인지요! 우리 들 가운데 가장 어린 자라도 이 비밀을 볼 수 있는 지위와 특권을 가지고 있습니다. 우리는 아담, 노아, 모세 또는 이사야, 예레미야, 스가랴와 같은 선지자들에게도 계시되지 않았던 것 을 보는 특권을 가지고 있습니다. 주님을 찬양합시다! 우리는 하나님의 말씀의 완성을 알 수 있습니다. 15

15 오늘날 우리의 관심의 초점은 하나님의 비밀인 그리스도와 그리스도의 비밀인 교회에 있습 니다. 하나님의 비밀인 만유를 포함한 그리스도는 하나님의 체현이고 또한 생명 주는 영이 십니다. 그리스도의 비밀인 교회는 그리스도의 몸이고, 그분의 충만이며, 그리스도의 완전한 표현이신 새 사람입니다. 이것이 성도들에게 나타난 비밀입니다. 15

15 The Mystery Manifested to the Saints15

15 Colossians 1:26 The mystery which has been hidden from the ages and from the generations but now has been manifested to His saints; (27) To whom God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.15

15 The mystery concerning Christ and the church had been hidden from eternity and from all times until the New Testament age, when it was manifested to the saints, the believers in Christ.15

15 It is important that in verse 26 Paul does not say that the mystery has been manifested to the apostles; he says that it has been manifested to the saints. Due to the influence of religious tradition, many believe that such things as God's economy cannot be understood by the so-called laymen. How we thank the Lord that the mystery has been manifested to the saints, to all those who believe in Christ! Even the youngest ones among us have both the position to see this mystery and the privilege of seeing it. We have the privilege of seeing something that was not revealed to Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, or to the prophets such as Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Zechariah. Praise the Lord that we can know the completion of the word of God! 15

15 Today we focus our attention upon Christ as the mystery of God and upon the church as the mystery of Christ. As the mystery of God, the all-inclusive Christ is the embodiment of God and also the life-giving Spirit. As the mystery of Christ, the church is the Body of Christ, His fullness, and the new man to be the full expression of Christ as well. This is the mystery that has been made manifest to the saints.15
