15 -골로새서 2장 8절- 누가 철학과 헛된 속임수로 너희를 노략할까 주의하라 이것이 사람의 유전과 세상의 초등학문을 좇음이요 그리스도를 좇음이 아니니라 15

15 어둠의 권세에서 건져내어짐은 사망의 권능을 가진 마귀로부터 구출되는 것입니다(히브리서 2장 14절, 요한복음 17장 15절). 우리는 그리스도의 죽음에 의해(골로새서 2장 15절), 또한 부활 안에 있는 그리스도의 생명에 의해(요한복음 5장 24절) 사탄 마귀로부터 구출되었습니 다. 흑암의 권세는 사탄의 나라요, 사탄 자신이 바로 어둠입니다. 사탄의 나라는 하나의 조 직입니다. 이 조직 안에 있는 것이 다 나쁜 것은 아닙니다. 오히려 좋은 것이 더 많습니다. 최소한 사회적으로 보더라도 좋게 여겨지는 것들입니다. 사탄은 사람들을 조직화하여, 그 조 직 안에 가두기 위해 좋고 나쁜 여러 가지 것들을 사용합니다. 사탄은 도박을 좋아하는 사 람들을 조직하기 위해 도박을 이용합니다. 그러므로 사탄의 나라에는 도박장관이 있고 도박 부가 있습니다. 15

15 사탄 왕국의 또 다른 한 부는 철학부입니다. 흑암의 권세에 대해 말한 후, 바울은 계속하여 관례와 규례와 철학과 세상적인 여러 가지 요소들을 언급하는데, 이것들은 사탄 권세의 여 러 가지 양상들입니다. 오늘날 수많은 사람들이 철학에 의해, 사탄의 조종 아래 움직입니다. 이 때문에 철학에 빠진 사람보다는 도박에 빠진 사람을 그리스도에게로 이끌기가 더 쉽습니 다. 우리는 중국에서 공자를 따르는 사람들을 돌이키기가 어려운 일임을 알게 되었습니다. 사탄은 수많은 중국인들을 조직화하고 조종하기 위해 유교의 윤리적 가르침을 이용했습니 다. 사탄은 윤리적인 철학을 통해 그들을 조종하고, 그들을 그의 권세 아래 붙잡아 놓았던 것입니다. 15

15 Not Being Carried Off from Christ15

15 Colossians 1:13 Who delivered us out of the authority of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
15 2:8 Beware that no one carries you off as spoil through his philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the elements of the world, and not according to Christ.15

15 To be delivered out of the authority of darkness is to be delivered from the Devil, who has the might of death (Heb. 2:14). We have been delivered from the Devil, Satan, by the death of Christ (Col. 2:15) and by the life of Christ in resurrection (John 5:24). We have seen that the authority of darkness is the kingdom of Satan and that Satan himself is darkness. The kingdom of Satan is a system. Not everything in this system is evil. On the contrary, many things are good, or at least are considered good by society. Satan uses various things, both good and evil, to systematize people and to keep them in his system. For those who are fond of gambling, Satan uses gambling to systematize them. Therefore, in his kingdom there is a ministry, a department, of gambling.15

15 Another department of the kingdom of Satan is the ministry of philosophy. After speaking of the authority of darkness, Paul goes on to mention ordinances, observances, philosophies, and the elements of the world, all of which are aspects of this satanic authority. Today a great many people are held under Satan's control by philosophy. For this reason, it is often easier to bring a gambler to Christ than a person devoted to philosophy. In China we found it difficult to convert the followers of Confucius. Satan used the ethical teachings of Confucianism to systematize and to control large numbers of Chinese. Satan controlled them and kept them under his authority through ethical philosophy. 15
