15 -마태복음 24장 37-39절- 노아의 때와 같이 인자의 임함도 그러하리라 홍수 전에 노아가 방주에 들어가던 날까지 사람들이 먹고 마시고 장가들고 시집가고 있으면서 홍수가 나서 저 희를 다 멸하기까지 깨닫지 못하였으니 인자의 임함도 이와 같으리라 15

15 먹고 마시는 것과 결혼은 원래 하나님이 인간의 생존을 위해 정하신 것입니다. 그러나 사람 의 정욕을 인하여 사탄은 사람을 점유하고, 사람으로 하여금 하나님에 대한 관심에서 멀어 지게 하려고 인간의 삶에 필요한 이러한 것들을 이용하고 있습니다. 홍수 전에 가장 현저한 특색들은 먹는 것과 마시는 것과 시집가고 장가가는 것이었습니다. 이것은 그 당시의 사람 들이 자신들의 육적이고 세상적인 누림에 마취되었다는 것을 가리킵니다. 그와 동일한 일이 오늘날 사회에서 발생하고 있습니다. 그러나 이것은 우리가 먹고 마시거나 결혼할 필요가 없다는 의미가 아닙니다. 이 모든 것들은 우리의 생존을 위해 필요합니다. 그러나 우리는 이 런 것들이 우리를 마취시키고 우리의 지각을 무디게 하는 것을 허용하지 말아야 합니다. 15

15 오늘날 사람들은 잘 먹고 마시고 잘 결혼하려는 목적으로 공부하고 일하고 있습니다. 그들 은 하나님께 속한 것들에 관해서는 생각이 전혀 없습니다. 오늘날 하나님에 관한 이러한 지 각의 결여가 얼마나 널리 퍼져 있는지요! 이런 상황은 주님의 파루시아(재림)때까지 계속될 것입니다. 15

15 노아의 날 동안, 하나님의 심판으로 왔던 홍수 바로 전에 이러한 것들이 극에 달했습니다. 어떤 의미에서 그리스도의 파루시아는 하나님의 심판으로 올 홍수와도 같을 것입니다. 홍수 는 노아 당시의 마취된 사람들 위에 내려진 심판이었습니다. 파루시아는 이 마취된 세상 위 에 하나님의 심판을 내릴 것입니다. 그리스도는 땅으로 내려오셔서 이 마취되고 배역하는 세상 위에 하나님의 의로운 심판을 집행하실 것입니다. 15

15 Not Allowing the Necessities of Human Life to Occupy Us15

15 Matthew 24:37 For just as the days of Noah were, so will the coming of the Son of Man be. (38) For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day in which Noah entered into the ark, (39) And they did not know that judgment was coming until the flood came and took all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.15

15 Eating, drinking, and marriage were originally ordained by God for man's existence. But due to man's lust, Satan utilizes these necessities of human life to occupy man and keep him from God's interests. The most striking features of the days before the flood were eating, drinking, marrying, and being given in marriage. This indicates that the people of those days were drugged by their fleshly, worldly enjoyment. The same thing is happening in society today. However, this does not mean that there is no need for us to eat, drink, or get married. All this is necessary for our existence. But we must not allow these things to drug us and to dull our senses. 15

15 People today are studying and working for the purpose of enjoying good eating, good drinking, and a good marriage. They have no thought concerning the things of God. How prevailing is this lack of sense concerning God today! This situation will continue until it reaches the climax during the Lord's parousia [second coming]. 15

15 During the days of Noah, this climax was reached a little before the flood which came in with the judgment of God. In a sense, the parousia of Christ will be like the flood coming with God's judgment. The flood brought judgment upon the drugged people of Noah's day. The parousia will bring God's judgment upon this drugged world. Christ will descend to earth and execute God's righteous judgment upon this drugged and rebellious world.15
