15 창세기 1장에서 우리는 여호와라는 이름을 볼 수 없습니다. 오직 우리는 하나님이라는 이름15 만을 발견합니다. "태초에 하나님이 ... 창조하시니라" 엘로힘-하나님-은 창조의 하나님을 위15 한 용어입니다. 여호와라는 이름은 창세기 2장까지는 사용되지 않았는데, 그것은 특히 하나15 님께서 사람과 관련될 때 사용하십니다. 예수라는 이름은 여호와에 무언가가 더해진 것으로15 서, 여호와 우리의 구원 곧 여호와 우리의 구원자이십니다.15

15 여호수아는 예수에 상응하는 히브리어이며, 예수는 여호수아의 헬라어 번역입니다. 모세는 15 하나님의 백성을 애굽에서 인도하여 냈지만, 여호수아는 그들을 안식 안으로 인도했습니다. 15 우리의 참 여호수아로서 예수는 우리를 안식 안으로 인도합니다. 마태복음 11장 29절과 2915 절은 우리에게 예수가 안식이요, 그분이 우리를 안식이신 그분 자신 안으로 인도한다고 말15 합니다. 히브리서 4장 8절, 9절, 11절도 역시 우리의 참 여호수아이신 예수에 대해 말합니다.15

15 오늘날 예수는 우리를 안식 안으로, 좋은 땅의 안식 안으로 인도하는 우리의 참 여호수아이15 십니다. 그분은 우리를 죄에서 구원하시는 우리의 구원자이실 뿐 아니라 또한 우리를 안식, 15 즉 좋은 땅으로 인도하는 우리의 여호수아이십니다. 우리가 그분의 이름을 부를 때마다 그15 분은 우리를 죄에서 구원하시며 우리를 안식 안으로 곧 그분 자신에 대한 누림 안으로 인도15 하십니다. 찬송가의 한 구절은 예수의 이름을 하루에 천 번 부르는 것에 대하여 말합니다. 15 여러분이 "예수"라고 말하면 말할수록 더 좋습니다. 우리는 항상 예수의 이름 말하기를 배15 워야 합니다. 예수는 우리의 구원이십니다. 예수는 또한 우리의 안식이십니다. 누구든지 주 15 예수의 이름을 부르는 자는 구원을 얻을 것이며 안식 안으로 들어갈 것입니다.15

15 Jesus Bringing Us into Rest 15

15 Matthew 11:28 Come to Me all who toil and are burdened, and I will give you rest. (29) 15 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and 15 you will find rest for your souls.15

15 In Genesis 1 we do not find the name Jehovah. We find only the name God: “In the 15 beginning God created....” Elohim-God-is the term for the God of creation. The name 15 Jehovah, which is not used until Genesis 2, is used especially when God relates to man. 15 The name Jesus is something added to Jehovah-that is, Jehovah our salvation, Jehovah 15 our Savior.15

15 Joshua is the Hebrew equivalent of Jesus, and Jesus is the Greek translation of Joshua. 15 Moses brought God's people out of Egypt, but Joshua brought them into rest. As our 15 real Joshua, Jesus brings us into rest. Matthew 11:28 and 29 tell us that Jesus is the 15 rest and that He brings us into Himself as rest. Hebrews 4:8, 9 and 11 also speak of 15 Jesus as our real Joshua.15

15 Today, Jesus is our real Joshua who brings us into rest, the rest of the good land. He 15 is not only our Savior saving us from sin, but also our Joshua bringing us into rest, 15 the good land. Whenever we call on His name, He saves us from sin and brings us into 15 rest, into the enjoyment of Himself. A line in a hymn speaks about saying the name 15 Jesus a thousand times a day. The more you say, “Jesus,” the better. We must learn 15 to speak the name of Jesus all the time. Jesus is our salvation. Jesus is also our rest. 15 Whoever calls on the name of the Lord Jesus shall be saved and enter into the rest.15
