15 -에베소서 3장 20절- 우리 가운데서 역사하시는 능력대로 우리의 온갖 구하는 것이나 생15 각하는 것에 더 넘치도록 능히 하실 이에게15

15 나는 성도들이 20절을 인용하면서 자신들이 체험한 하나님의 물질적인 축복에 대해 간증하15 는 것을 여러 번 들어 보았습니다. 이 구절을 그런 목적으로 인용하는 것은 잘못 적용하는 15 것입니다. 여기서의 바울의 관념은 하나님이 우리의 밖에서 무엇을 하시는 것과 관련된 것15 이 아니라, 그분이 우리 안에서 하시는 것과 관련되어 있습니다. 그는 구체적으로 "우리 가15 운데서(안에서-원문 참조) 역사하시는 능력"이라고 언급하고 있습니다. 이것은 1장 19절과 15 20절에서 언급된 내적 능력이요 부활능력입니다.15

15 하나님의 창조하시는 능력은 우리 주변에 있는 물질적인 것들의 기원이지만(로마서 8장 2815 절), 하나님의 부활의 능력은 우리 내적 존재 안에서 교회를 위해 영적인 것들을 성취합니15 다. 하나님이 우리에게 좋은 직업을 주시려 한다면, 우리 안에서 부활 능력이 역사할 필요가 15 없습니다. 우리가 구하는 것이나 생각하는 것에 하나님이 더 넘치도록 하실 수 있다는 것은 15 우리 환경 안에서의 그분의 행함과 관련되는 것이 아니라 우리 안에서의 그분의 유기적이고15 도 신진대사적인 역사와 관련됩니다. 환경에 관한 한, 하나님이 외관상 여러분에게 아무 것15 도 하지 않으시는 때가 종종 있을지도 모릅니다. 여러분은 승진을 위해 기도했는데, 그분은 15 여러분을 해고당하게 하십니다. 이 실직기간 동안 하나님은 여러분 안에 그리스도께서 그분15 의 거처를 정하실 수 있도록 여러분 안에서 역사하실지도 모릅니다. 우리가 좋은 환경에 있15 을 때는 주님께서 우리 내적 존재 안에서 확장되실 기회가 좀처럼 없을지도 모릅니다. 그러15 나 우리가 어려운 환경에 있을 때, 주님께서 우리 내적 존재 안에서 확장되실 기회를 좀 더 15 많이 갖게 되실 것입니다.15

15 Our Prayers Seemingly Go Unanswered 15

15 Ephesians 3:20 ...that you, being rooted and grounded in love, (19) And to know the 15 knowledge-surpassing love of Christ...15

15 A number of times I have heard the saints quote verse 20 in testifying concerning their 15 experience of God's material blessing. To quote this verse for such a purpose is to 15 misapply it. Paul's concept here is related not to what God does outside of us, but to 15 what He does inside of us. He specifically mentions “the power which operates in u15 s.” This is the inward power, the resurrection power, as mentioned in 1:19 and 20. 15

15 God's creating power is the origin of the material things in our environment (Rom. 15 8:28), whereas God's resurrection power accomplishes the spiritual things for the church 15 within our inward being. In order for God to give us a good job, there is no need for 15 resurrection power to operate in us. God's being able to do superabundantly above all 15 that we ask or think is related not to His acts in our environment, but to His working 15 organically and metabolically within us. As far as the environment is concerned, there 15 may be times when God apparently does nothing for you. You may pray for a 15 promotion, but He allows you to be laid off from your present job. During this time of 15 unemployment, God may operate within you to enable Christ to make His home in you. 15 When we are in a favorable environment, there may be very little opportunity for Christ 15 to spread Himself in our hearts. But when we are placed in a difficult environment, the 15 Lord may have more of an opportunity to spread within our inward being. 15
