15 비록 우리가 어떤 실행을 좋아한다 할지라도 그것들을 고집해서는 안됩니다. 만일 우리가 15 특별한 실행을 고집한다면, 우리는 그 실행으로 나뉘게 하고 적대감을 일으키는 규례를 만15 드는 것입니다. 그리스도인들은 침례에 대한 많은 규례들과 같은 각종 규례들에 의해 나뉘15 어져 왔습니다. 어떤 이들은 뒤로 침례받아야 한다고 주장하며 다른 이들은 앞으로 침례받15 아야 한다고 주장합니다. 어떤 그리스도인들은 악기를 사용하는 것에 있어서 나누어지기도 15 합니다. 어떤 이들은 오르간이 아닌 피아노만을 인정하지만, 또 다른 이들은 반대입니다. 나15 는 집회에서 큰 소리로 찬양하고 선포하는 것을 좋아하지만, 그런 것들을 고집하지는 않습15 니다. 어떤 주장을 고집하는 것은 분열을 야기시킵니다. 그러므로 우리는 어떤 규례도 가져15 서는 안됩니다. 그리스도의 십자가에서 모든 규례들은 폐하여졌습니다.15

15 서로 가까운 사람들 사이에서도 규례는 적대감을 일으킬 수 있습니다. 두 형제가 오랫동안 15 교통을 나누어왔다 하더라도 집회 가운데 소리치는 것과 조용히 있는 것으로 인해서 적대감15 이 생길 수도 있습니다. 서로를 사랑하는 대신에 서로를 미워하게 될 것입니다. 종교적인 질15 투는 끔직한 것입니다. 역사가 말해주듯이 교활한 살인자 사탄으로 말미암은 종교적인 질투15 로 인하여 수많은 사람들이 학살당했습니다. 그러므로 우리는 죄를 짓거나 부도덕한 것이거15 나 우상숭배가 아니라면, 우리는 모든 규례들을 거부하고 성도들의 실행에 보조를 함께 해15 야 합니다.15

15 Ephesians 4:22 That you put off, as regards your former manner of life, the old man, 15 which is being corrupted...
15 Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new man... (11) Where there cannot be Greek and 15 Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free man, but Christ is 15 all and in all.15

15 Although we may like certain practices, we should not insist on them. If we insist on a 15 particular practice, we make it an ordinance that separates and creates enmity. 15 Christians have been divided by ordinances, such as the various ordinances concerning 15 baptism. Some insist upon baptizing backwards; others insist on doing it forwards. Some 15 Christians are divided over the use of musical instruments. Some permit a piano, but 15 not an organ; the practice of others, however, is the opposite... Although I appreciate 15 shouting and loud praises in the meetings, I am not for these things. To insist on any 15 practice is to cause division. Hence, we must not have any ordinances. On the cross of 15 Christ all ordinances were abolished. 15

15 It is possible for ordinances to become a cause of hatred even among those who have 15 been close to one another. Two brothers may have enjoyed pleasant fellowship for a 15 number of years, but simply because one is for shouting and the other is for being 15 silent, there may be enmity between them. Instead of loving each other, they may come 15 to hate each other. Religious jealousy is a terrible thing. History tells us that many 15 have been slain because of it through the subtlety of Satan, the murderer. Therefore, we 15 must repudiate all ordinances and go along with the practices of the saints [believers], 15 as long as these practices do not involve anything sinful, immoral, or idolatrous.... 15
