15 -요한복음 14장 2-3,28절- 내 아버지 집에 거할 곳이 많도다 그렇지 않으면 너희에게 일렀 15 으리라 내가 너희를 위하여 처소를 예비하러 가노니 가서 너희를 위하여 처소를 예비하면 15 내가 다시 와서 너희를 내게로 영접하여 나 있는 곳에 너희도 있게 하리라 ... 내가 갔다가 15 너희에게로 온다 하는 말을 너희가 들었나니 나를 사랑하였더면 나의 아버지께로 감을 기뻐15 하였으리라 아버지는 나보다 크심이니라15

15 우리가 보았듯이, 대부분의 그리스도인은 그분의 가심의 목적이 하늘이라고 생각합니다. 그15 러나 이 장을 주의깊게 읽어 본 다음에는 주님이 가시려는 목적지는 하늘이 아니었음을 발15 견할 것입니다. 주님은 제자들을 한 곳에서 다른 곳으로 이끄실 의향이 없으셨습니다. 그것15 은 장소의 문제가 아니라 살아 있는 인격이신 아버지 자신의 문제입니다. 주님은 아버지께15 로 가시려고 했으므로 그분의 뜻은 제자들을 아버지의 신성한 인격 안으로 이끄시는 것이었15 습니다.15

15 13장은 주께서 아버지로부터 오셨음을 우리에게 일러주고 있습니다(3절). 여기 14장에서 우15 리는 그분이 아버지께로 가시려는 것을 봅니다. 주님은 성육신으로 아버지로부터 와서 하나15 님을 사람 안으로 이끄셨습니다. 이제 주님은 사람을 하나님 안으로 이끄시기 위해 아버지15 께로 가시려고 하십니다. 이 장의 사상은 주께서 하늘로 가신다는 것이 아니라 그분께서 믿15 는 모든 사람들 곧 그분을 생명으로 영접한 모든 이들을 하나님 안으로 이끄시기 위해 아버15 지께로 가신다는 것입니다. 그분이 가시는 길은 죽음과 부활에 의한 것이었고, 그분이 가시15 는 목적은 사람을 하나님 안으로 이끄시는 것이었습니다. 그러므로 그분의 가심에 의해서 15 우리도 역시 아버지 안에 있게 될 것인데, 이는 그분이 우리를 아버지 안으로 이끄시기 때15 문입니다. 그분이 계신 그 곳에 우리도 역시 있을 것입니다. 15

15 John 14:2-3, 2815

15 John 14:2 In My Father's house are many abodes; if it were not so, I would have told 15 you; for I go to prepare a place for you. (3) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I 15 am coming again and will receive you to Myself, so that where I am you also may be. 15 (28) You have heard that I said to you, I am going away and I am coming to you. If 15 you loved Me, you would rejoice because I am going to the Father, for the Father is 15 greater than I. 15

15 As we have seen, most Christians think that the aim of His going was heaven. 15 However, after a careful reading of this chapter, you will discover that the object of the 15 Lord's going was not heaven. The Lord had no intention of bringing His believers from 15 one place to another. It is not a matter of a place; it is a matter of a living Person, the 15 Father Himself. The Lord was going to the Father, and His intention was to bring His 15 disciples into the divine Person of the Father. 15

15 Chapter thirteen tells us that the Lord came from the Father (v. 3). Here, in chapter 15 fourteen, we see that He was going to the Father. The Lord came from the Father by 15 incarnation to bring God into man. Now the Lord was going to the Father in order to 15 bring man into God. The thought of this chapter is not that the Lord was going to 15 heaven, but that He was going to the Father in order to bring all those who believe, 15 those who receive Him as life, into God. The way of His going was by death and 15 resurrection, and the purpose of His going was to bring man into God. Therefore, by 15 His going we shall also be in the Father because He brings us into the Father. So 15 where He is, there we shall be also. 15
