15 -마태복음 22장 2절- 천국은 마치 자기 아들을 위하여 혼인 잔치를 베푼 어떤 임금과 같15 으니 15

15 베다니는 가난의 집 혹은 고생의 집이란 뜻입니다. 외적으로 교회는 가난하고 고생하는지도 15 모릅니다. 땅 위에 있는 교회는 물질에 있어서 부요하지 않을지 모르나 그분의 임재 안에서 15 주님을 누리는 누림에서는 부요해야 합니다. 외적인 사람들은 늘 교회를 천시하면서 교회가 15 가난하고 고생으로 가득하다고 말합니다. 그들에게는 우리가 주님 자신의 모든 것을 누리는 15 데 있어서 얼마나 부요한지를 깨닫는 영이 없습니다.15

15 외적으로 이 작은 집에 아무런 매력이 없어 보이지만, 내적으로는 잔치를 누림과 안식과 만15 족이 가득 차 있습니다. 주 예수님이 잔치를 누리고 안식하셨을 뿐 아니라 그곳에 있는 다15 른 모든 이들도 그러했습니다. 교회 생활은 반드시 이러해야 합니다. 외적으로는 모든 것이 15 초라할지도 모릅니다. 그러나 내적으로는 모든 것이 귀중하고 달콤하며 사랑스럽습니다. 우15 리는 주님과 함께 있고 주님은 우리와 함께 계신다는 달콤한 감흥을 갖습니다. 그분은 우리15 와 잔치를 누리고 우리는 그분과 잔치를 누립니다. 그분과 우리 모두가 안식합니다. 모든 사15 람이 안식 가운데 있고 모든 사람이 만족합니다 바로 이것이 교회생활입니다.15

15 그분의 임재는 교회 생활에 매우 중요합니다. 교회 생활은 절대적으로 주님의 임재에 달려 15 있는 생활입니다. 주님의 임재가 없다면 교회 생활은 비어있는 것입니다. 내적으로 교회 생15 활은 잔치입니다. 주님과 그분의 백성을 위하여 항상 잔치가 준비되어 있는 곳입니다. 주님 15 자신이 그것을 누릴 뿐 아니라 그분과 함께 있는 모든 백성도 마찬가지로 누립니다. 교회는 15 주님과 그분의 백성이 함께 모여서 서로 잔치를 누리고 또 서로를 누릴 수 있는 곳입니다. 15

15 The Church Being a Feast15

15 John 12:1 Then Jesus, six days before the Passover, came to Bethany, where Lazarus 15 was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. (2)Therefore they made Him a supper 15 there; and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of the ones reclining at table with Him.
15 Matthew 22:2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who prepared a 15 wedding feast for his son.15

15 Bethany means house of the poor or house of affliction. Outwardly, the church may be 15 poor and afflicted. The church on earth may not be rich in material things; it should be 15 rich with the enjoyment of the Lord in His presence. The outward people will always 15 look down on the church, saying that it is poor and full of affliction. They do not have 15 a spirit to realize how rich we are in the enjoyment of all that the Lord is to us. 15

15 Although there was nothing outwardly attractive about that little house, inwardly it was 15 filled with feasting, resting, and satisfaction. Not only the Lord Jesus was feasting and 15 resting, but so was everyone else who was there. It must be this way in the church 15 life... Outwardly, everything may be poor; inwardly, however, everything is precious, 15 sweet, and dear. We have the sweet sensation that we are with the Lord and that the 15 Lord is with us. He is feasting with us and we are feasting with Him. Both He and we 15 are resting. Everyone is at rest and everyone is satisfied. This is the church life. 15

15 His presence means very much to the church life. The church life is a life that 15 absolutely depends upon the Lord's presence. Without the Lord's presence, the church 15 life is empty. Inwardly, the church life is a feast... Here there is always a feast prepared 15 for the Lord and His people. Not only the Lord Himself enjoys it, but all the people 15 who are with Him enjoy it as well... The church is a place where the Lord and His 15 people come together to feast with one another and to enjoy one another. 15
