15 예루살렘에 있는 연못은 치유의 수단이 그 전형적인 종교 안에 있다는 것을 상징합니다. 그15 러나 하나의 요구 조건이 있는데, 그것은 (이 종교의 법을 지키기 위해서는) 걸을 수 있고 15 움직일 수 있는 기력이 있어야 한다는 것입니다. 15

15 무기력한 사람은 38년 동안 병을 앓았습니다. 그는 움직일 수 없었습니다. 그는 물이 동하는 15 것을 보았을 때 기대로 가득 찼지만, 그가 제 시간에 거기에 당도하기란 불가능했습니다. 그15 는 무기력했고 움직일 수 없기 때문에 치유받을 수 없었습니다. 이와 같이 우리도 무기력함 15 때문에 율법을 지킬 수 없습니다. 율법은 선하고, 거룩하고, 영적입니다. 율법에는 아무런 하15 자가 없습니다. 문제는 우리에게 있는 것입니다.15

15 율법을 준수하는 종교 안에 치유의 수단들이 있기는 하지만, 그 무기력한 자에게는 아무런 15 유익이 없었습니다. 왜냐하면 그는 그 요구 조것들을 이룰 만한 기력이 없었기 때문입니다. 15 종교의 율법 준수는 인간의 노력, 인간의 행함, 인간의 가식에 달려 있습니다. 인간은 무기15 력하기 때문에 종교의 율법 준수는 부적합한 것이 됩니다.15

15 John 5:4-515

15 John 5:4 For an angel went down from time to time in the pool and stirred up the 15 water; the first then to step in after the stirring up of the water was made well of 15 whatever disease he was being held by. (5) And a certain man was there, who had 15 been thirty-eight years in his sickness. 15

15 The pool in Jerusalem signifies that the means of healing is in that typical religion. But 15 there is a requirement-you must have strength in order to walk and act [to keep the 15 law of this religion]. 15

15 The impotent man had been sick for thirty-eight years. He was unable to move. He 15 was filled with expectation when he saw the waters stirring, but it was impossible for 15 him to get there in time. Because he was impotent, unable to move, he could not 15 receive healing. Likewise, due to our impotence, we cannot keep the law. The law is 15 good, holy, and spiritual. There is no problem with the law; the problem is with us. 15

15 There was the means of healing in the law-keeping religion, but it did not profit the 15 impotent man, because he had no strength to fulfill its requirements. Religion's law 15 keeping depends upon man's effort, man's doing, and man's make-up. Since man is 15 impotent, religion's law-keeping becomes inadequate. 15
