15 -요한복음 4장 15-18절- 여자가 가로되 주여 이런 물을 내게 주사 목마르지도 않고 또 여15 기 물 길러 오지도 않게 하옵소서 가라사대 가서 네 남편을 불러 오라 여자가 대답하여 가15 로되 나는 남편이 없나이다 예수께서 가라사대 네가 남편이 없다 하는 말이 옳도다 네가 남15 편 다섯이 있었으나 지금 있는 자는 네 남편이 아니니 네 말이 참되도다 15

15 여인이 주님께 물을 달라고 청했을 때, 그분은 꾸짖지 않으시고, 회개하고 그녀의 죄들을 철15 저히 자백하라고 일러주셨습니다. 주님은 부드럽고 온유하게 말씀하셨습니다. "가서 네 남편15 을 불러 오라." 마치 주님은 이렇게 말씀하시는 듯 합니다. "나는 네 남편을 원한다. 네가 15 나에게 생수를 청하니 나는 네게 네 남편을 청한다. 우리 서로 교환하기로 하자. 너는 생수15 의 대가로 네 남편을 데려오너라."15

15 이 사마리아 여인의 목마름은 그녀로 하여금 다섯 남편을 갖고, 또 남편 아닌 자와 함께 사15 는 것과 같은 많은 그릇된 이들을 하게 했습니다. 그것은 그녀 스스로가 발견한 삶의 종류15 였습니다. 그녀는 자기를 만족시켜 줄 육체적인 것들을 구했으나 불만족만을 발견했을 뿐입15 니다. 그 여섯 남자는 결코 사람들을 만족시킬 수 없는 육체적이고 물질적인 것들을 대표합15 니다.15

15 John 4:15 The woman said to Him, Sir, give me this water so that I will not thirst nor 15 come here to draw. (16) He said to her, Go, call your husband and come here. (17) The 15 woman answered and said, I do not have a husband. Jesus said to her, You have well 15 said, I do not have a husband, (18) For you have had five husbands, and the one you 15 now have is not your husband; this you have said truly. 15

15 When the woman asked the Lord for the water He did not rebuke her, telling her to 15 repent and make a thorough confession of her sins. The Lord spoke softly and gently 15 saying, “Go, call your husband and come here” (4:16). The Lord seemed to be saying, 15 “I want your husband. You ask Me for the living water, and I ask you for your 15 husband. Let us trade. You trade your husband for the living water.” 15

15 The thirst of this Samaritan woman had led her to many wrong things, such as having 15 five husbands and living with a man who was not her husband. That was the kind of 15 life she found herself in. She sought the physical things to satisfy her, but found only 15 dissatisfaction. The six men represent the physical and material things which could 15 never satisfy people. 15
