15 -요한복음 1장 12-13절- 영접하는 자 곧 그 이름을 믿는 자들에게는 하나님의 자녀가 되15 는 권세를 주셨으니 이는 혈통으로나 육정으로나 사람의 뜻으로 나지 아니하고 오직 하나님15 께로서 난 자들이니라 15 이 구절들에 묘사된 출생은 부모에 의해서 이루어진 천연적인 것이 아니라 주 예수의 이름15 을 믿을 때 일어나는 두 번째의 출생입니다.15

15 주님을 믿는 것은 그분을 영접하는 것과 같습니다. 내가 주님을 영접하는 것에 대해 말할 15 때 여러분은 그러한 것을 한 적이 없다고 말할지 모릅니다. 그러나 한 가지 질문을 하겠습15 니다. "여러분은 주님을 믿지 않았습니까? 그분의 이름을 들을 때 여러분은 그를 믿지 않았15 습니까?" 만약 어떤 사람이 진정으로 그 귀한 이름을 믿는다면 어떤 방법으로든 그는 "주 15 예수여!"라고 말할 것입니다. 여러분의 존재 깊은 속에서 그 이름을 말한다면 그것이 그분을 15 믿는 것입니다. 그분의 이름을 부름으로 그를 믿게 되면 그것이 바로 그분을 영접했다는 증15 거입니다. 그분을 영접한 후 여러분은 하나님의 자녀가 되는 권세를 얻게 됩니다. 이 권세는 15 무엇입니까? 그것은 곧 여러분에게 생명이 된 그리스도 자신입니다. 생명이신 그리스도는 15 곧 아들의 영이며, 이 아들의 영이 여러분을 하나님의 자녀로 만듭니다. 하나님의 자녀인 것15 은 두 가지로 알 수 있습니다. 그분을 믿고 그 이름을 부른다는 사실과 때때로 자연적으로 15 달콤하게 "아바 아버지"라고 부르짖는 사실입니다. 하나님을 달콤하게 "아바 아버지"라고 부15 를 수 있는 그것이 바로 그분의 자녀라는 사실을 증명합니다.15

15 13절에서는 이 출생이 혈통으로나 육정으로나 사람의 뜻으로 나지 않은 것이라고 선포합니15 다. 여기에서 혈통은 물질적인 생명을 나타냅니다. 육정은 사람이 육이 된 후의 타락된 사람15 의 의지를 의미합니다. 사람의 뜻은 하나님에 의해서 창조된 사람의 의지를 말합니다. 하나15 님의 자녀로 태어난다는 것은 물질적인 생명이나 타락된 생명 또는 우리의 피조된 생명으로 15 태어나는 것이 아니며, 하나님 곧 피조되지 않은 생명으로 태어나는 것입니다. 인간이 하나15 님의 자녀로 태어나면 하나님의 거룩한 생명과 하나님의 성품을 갖게 됩니다.15

15 왜 하나님은 그렇게 많은 자녀들을 낳으셨습니까? 그분이 우리를 사랑하거나 동정하기 때문15 만은 아닙니다. 그분이 우리를 사랑하실지라도 많은 자녀를 낳은 목적은 그분의 번성을 위15 해서입니다. 하나님은 번성되기를 원하십니다. 모든 아버지에게는 어느 정도의 번성이 있습15 니다. 우리를 낳기 전에 하나님은 단지 그분 자신 뿐이었습니다. 그분은 자신을 보고 말씀하15 셨습니다. "여기에 내가 혼자 있다. 나는 전능하고 전지하고 무소부재하다. 나는 모든 것이15 다. 그러나 나는 홀로 있다."많은 아들을 낳은 후 하나님은 이제 이렇게 말씀하실 수 있습니15 다. "나의 번성을 보아라!" 많은 세기와 세대를 거쳐서 하나님은 그분 자신을 번성시켜 왔습15 니다.15

15 John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become 15 children of God, to those who believe into His name, (13) Who were begotten not of 15 blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 15

15 The birth described in these verses is not the natural birth which we had through our 15 parents; it is the second birth which occurred when we believed in the name of the 15 Lord Jesus. 15

15 Believing in the Lord is equal to receiving Him. When I speak of receiving the Lord 15 Jesus, you may say that you have never done that. However, I want to ask you a 15 question: Have you not believed in the Lord Jesus? When you heard His name, did you 15 not believe in it? If a person truly believes in that dear name, I am certain that, in 15 some way or other, he will say, “Lord Jesus.” As long as you say His name from 15 the depths of your being, it means that you believe in Him. If you believe in Him by 15 calling on His name, it is proof that you have received Him. And since you have 15 received Him, you have received the authority to become a child of God. What is this 15 authority? It is Christ Himself as life to you. Christ as life is simply the Spirit of 15 sonship, and this Spirit of sonship makes you God's child. You can know that you are 15 a child of God by two things: by the fact that you believe in Him and call on His 15 name, and by the fact that, at times, you spontaneously and sweetly cry, “Abba, 15 Father.” If you can call God “Abba, Father” in such a sweet way, it proves that you 15 are His child. 15

15 As verse 13 declares, this birth is not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the 15 will of man. Blood (Gk., bloods) here signifies the physical life; the will of the flesh 15 denotes the will of fallen man after man became flesh, the will of man refers to the will 15 of man created by God. When we became a child of God, we were not born of our 15 physical life, our fallen life, or our created life-we were born of God, the uncreated life. 15 For human beings to become children of God is for man to have the divine life and the 15 divine nature. 15

15 Why has God brought forth so many children? Not mainly because He loves us or 15 because He has pity on us. Although He loves us, the purpose of His begetting so 15 many children is for His multiplication. God loves to be multiplied. Every father has 15 some multiplication. Before God brought us forth, He was merely God Himself. He could 15 look at Himself and say, “Here I am by Myself. I am almighty, omniscient, and 15 omnipresent. I am everything, but I am alone.” Now, after generating so many children 15 God can say, “Behold My multiplication!” Throughout all the centuries and 15 generations God has been multiplying Himself. 15
